Some of your responsibilities as a Bartender include:

Have a full understanding of all menu items. Full training and tastings are provided, we want you to be successful in your role, we will furnish you with the tools to do a great job.
Be you and let your personality shine, our Bartenders have great exposure to our guests, and they love to hear your recommendations.
Be adaptable: our Bartenders are creative and have flair, with that they can adapt to varying guests needs.
Be willing to learning new bar trends, skills, beverage items and bringing ideas to the table to continue drive creativity on the bar.

Actively working as part of the sales team to increase profitability, you must have excellent organisational skills to plan each individual event with interpersonal skills over the phone, via email and face to face. The ideal candidate would work well under pressure with an accurate and consistent approach to customer service. You must have excellent communication skills and have the confidence to liaise via telephone and in person.

Some of your roles and responsibilities as an Events Co-Ordinator include:

Handling all incoming enquiries with a high level of customer service in a timely manner.
Ensure full and up-to-date knowledge of the hotel is maintained, specifically the hotels events facilities and services.
Communicating effectively with other operational departments to maximise revenue opportunities at all times to ensure set KPI’s are met.
Continually keeping in contact with clients to ensure their event is seamless.
You will be responsible for new enquiries, inputting details on to the system, conducting show rounds of the facilities, creating contracts, checking function paperwork.
Previous experience working in a similar role is preferable but full training is provided for the right candidate. If you can demonstrate excellent customer service and want to be part of the Champneys Family, we want to hear from you.

Within this role you will be adaptable to our guest needs, and you will enjoy a variety of tasks putting our guests experience first.

Some responsibilities as a Spa Cleaner include:

To ensure that the changing rooms within our Spa and Leisure facility as well as poolside areas are clean, presentable and free of used items, creating an inviting and relaxing space for guests.
Use of industrial cleaning machinery to deep clean and maintain the standards across the facility during closing hours.
Effectively manage used towels and robes by ensuring they are removed from guest areas and washed and dried in a timely manner within the laundry room.
Work to allocated check lists and support where necessary your team and the Spa and Leisure team with any general requests.
Uphold high levels of security and communication between management, fellow colleagues and guests.

Our Food and Beverage Assistants have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available for that day.

In the role of a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will provide consistent levels of excellent service, you will be courteous, professional, and have a passion for what we do. You will help to drive sales within the Food and Beverage department while being an ambassador for Champneys.

Some duties and responsibilities as a Food and Beverage Assistant include;

Ensuring the Food and Beverage areas are well presented, inviting and to the to the standard our guests expect.
Having a complete knowledge of all food & beverage menus enabling you to provide accurate and enticing product descriptions including knowledge on dietary needs, calorific values, and basic nutrition to guests.
Taking reservations and orders, and serve guests with drinks and meals in accordance with Company and hotel standards and procedures and taking every opportunity to upsell.
Maintaining a clean working and dining area and maintain cellar areas in a clean, safe and hygienic condition in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
Rotate bar stocks and maintain sales displays according to Company and hotel guidelines.

Our Conference and Events team at Mottram Hall help the magic happen, whether it be a dream wedding, exclusive event or a team meeting, our Food & Beverage Assistants within this area ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of everything food and drink related. If you like large scale events and a job where no two days are the same this team is for you.


With 9 conference rooms, our conference hub area is generally always full with new and existing clients.
We work at exceptional pace and on some occasions need to be reactive to our guests changing needs, this is where we become adaptable and resourceful and exceed guest expectations.


Some duties and responsibilities include;

To undertake mis en place duties and to check they have all been carried out to the required standard.
To ensure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are clean and laid correctly to the required standard.
To ensure all work areas are clean and tidy to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
To understand the menu which is to be served and prepare and breakdown buffet/function tables as appropriate.
