Job Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies, putting together mood images, planning layout and conceptualize interior design with options
• Prepare and present (where appropriate) interior design considerations to client, consultants and contractors, if necessary
• Design development that would include schematic design, detailed drawings and tender specifications
• Preparation of interior design documents for calling of tenders, quotations, including FFE selection, custom design of signature furniture pieces, specifications and cut sheets
• Conduct and document ID meetings with contractors, consultants and clients
• Where appropriate, to participate in interior design project management & coordination e.g. checking shop drawings, etc
• Monitor and manage interior design works and progress on site
• Assist with verification of as-built, defect rectification and handover of interior design works to Client
• Project and/or design management of more than 2 ID projects at any given time
• To interact and discuss with Directors on pushing boundaries in design, new fields and delivery excellence

Job Requirements

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in interior design consultancy with varying typologies (added advantage for hospitality and healthcare experience)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, sketch up, photoshop and other relevant software. Ability in visualization software an advantage namely 3DMax etc
• Experience in design development, documentation and detailing. An interest and ability in FFE and materials
• Able to understand Client needs, architectural requirements and provide appropriate advice on interior design layout
• Self-motivated with initiative and a team player

Job Responsibility:

1. Support the team on architectural, master planning and urban design projects for multi-disciplinary projects at various scales from planning to building scales
2. Working with senior supervisor to prepare urban design strategies and guidelines from conceptualization to report preparation
3. Responsible for masterplan preparation, 3D massing models, written strategies for incorporation into reports
4. Coordination with others in a multi-disciplinary environment
5. Assist to research and apply relevant design and sustainability strategies on projects

Job Requirement:

1. Good Degree in Architecture or Planning and a post-graduate in Urban Design
2. 0-3 years of experience in architecture, planning and/or urban design projects
3. Have skills or interest in parametric modelling including use of Rhino and Grasshopper software programs to apply on urban design projects
4. Good working knowledge in relevant software including CAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, GIS, 3D Max, Rhino, Grasshopper etc. would be an advantage
5. Communicates well, organized, attention to details and good presentation skills
