About you and this role

The role will be in the Enterprise Systems Services Leveraged Functions Team and will be responsible for delivering solutions that support and enhance the current EHS & Sustainability business processes and support Dow’s Digital Sustainability Strategy and Ambitions.

With in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge, the Solution Manager will be responsible for a selected portfolio of Environment Health, Safety & Sustainability(EHS&S) Solutions. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary IT team, Business Partner, functions to develop, deliver and maintain innovative digital solutions and capabilities with an emphasis on customer/employee experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability while aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation. You will be technically leading team to improve overall IT capabilities by continuously promoting quality techniques to drive improvements and also assist in financial management by managing solution lifecycle costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
• Responsible for following ITIL framework to deliver value for users of the EHS & Sustainability services.
• Coordinates with other Solution Managers for end-to-end process optimization and integration. Accountable for solution lifecycle, including functional / technical design; solution architecture; developing value cases for buy vs make decisions; integration of third-party off-the-shelf software; developing, integrating, building, and testing quality solutions; and retiring services and solutions per agreed upon lifecycle roadmap.
• Works with partners and stakeholder to define a solution(s) portfolio improvement and innovation roadmap with proper sequencing and prioritization of projects; Helps assess resource, technology, and investment needed in delivering against the roadmap.
• Supports and fosters a community of solution experts and acts as a thought leader in his/her domain.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related IT field
• Knowledge and experience with EHS and Sustainability processes and technologies
• A minimum of 10 years of work experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4 business processes
• Agile/Scrum, ITIL or Design Thinking knowledge is beneficial.
• ITIL V4 Foundational Certification
• Analytical and problem-solving and good communication skills

• Ensure inter-company AR and APAY are in balance.

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist, within Human Resources (HR).  This role is part of the Payroll and Time & Absence Team in the HR Solutions organization based in Mumbai, India.

Role Description

The Payroll Specialist enables a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional service delivery and subject matter consultation for Payroll. This includes the management, implementation, and delivery of innovative solutions.

This role will lead the payroll delivery for United Kingdom in the EMEAI region. The main objective of this role is to ensure that the employees are paid on time and accurately, in compliance with the respective country tax-legislation, agreed labor conditions, company policies and regulations. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to UK Payroll. You are expected to give informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others.

It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Payroll, Time & Absence, and Data Management in a productive and efficient manner.

• Processing information with confidentiality and with a high level of accuracy.

• Leading and partnering in strategic improvement projects, change projects.

• Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and local authorities.

• Perform activities according to the Dow internal control & compliance framework and lead coordination for internal and external audits.

• Monitoring and management of outside service providers, including managing, owning, and having full accountability for the data to and from the payroll provider.

• Serve as an escalation point to address employee queries/cases on payroll related matters.

Qualifications:

• You have a Masters or bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related area.

• You bring a minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.

• Fluency in English (written & oral) is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow & ADP Globalview, SAP.

• Experience in UK Payroll is an asset.

• Proficiency in any other European languages is an asset.

• Understand organizational interdependencies and experience working across functions and cultures.

• Experience in high volume operational environments is required.

• Experience in internal controls through prior audit participation is preferred.

Dow Polyurethanes (PU) has an opening for a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist located in Mumbai, India.  The purpose of this job is to manage all and decide supply across multiple sites and plants within across the Dow Polyurethanes (PU) businesses. This role includes balancing supply and demand over the tactical planning horizon, to achieve optimized product availability and ensuring our supply chain terminal and warehouse network is balanced and capable of meeting customer orders.  

Decides what, when and where to supply for multiple production sites or multiple plants at one site, within a single business or multiple smaller businesses. • Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, third-party service providers and business partners to meet business obligations in case of unplanned events 
• Ensures proper maintenance of production parameters (material masters, work centers, routings) to ensure effective planning 
• Follows best practices, procedures and governance over master data 
• Supports global supply chain initiatives by interfacing with other supply chain personnel in the business and shared services 
• Maintains strong linkages with Demand Manager and ensures full integration with Finance and Accounting. 
• Owns supply-demand balances for assigned desk, drives resolution of strategic gaps and significant capacity challenges and develops sourcing strategies.

• Support improvement initiatives to deliver improved performance and lowest cost to serve.  
• When problems arise, drive issue resolution through use of Dow tools such as RPM, QN and MOC. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences.
• 3-4 years Supply chain experience or Manufacturing environment.

• Enterprise Resource Planning Systems experience - preferably SAP 
• Digital Planning System experience - OMP, APO etc 
• APICS Certification is preferred.

About you and the role:

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Representative, within Human Resources (HR).  This role is part of the Payroll and Time & Absence team in the HR Solutions organization located in Mumbai, India.

The main objective of the Senior Payroll Representative role is to ensure that the employees are paid on time and accurately, in compliance with the respective country tax-legislation, agreed labor conditions, company policies and regulations. As a Payroll Representative, you will be responsible to perform and coordinate administrative and control activities on behalf of the Dow Payroll department. In your work, you demonstrate structure and process orientation, with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Payroll, Time & Absence, and Data Management in a productive and efficient manner.
  • This includes pay processing for all employees (including retirees where applicable), validating new hires with any pro-ration, terminations, cross referencing all deductions (401k for US, medical, all other benefits, garnishments, tax, etc.)
  • Processing one time/special payments, processing corrections to pay and time, overpayments, collections of arrears, employee loans.
  • Processing updates to earnings that come in from Aviation, Dow transportation, customer, and business events, etc.
• Processing information with confidentiality and with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and local authorities.

Includes both short term operational troubleshooting as well as the longer term view of designing and building a reliable, cost effective and sustainable supply chain in the Area of scope. Promotes a customer focused Integrated Supply Chain quality culture by acting as the “voice of the customer” within the Business and the voice of the Business Supply Chain in front of the customers. Requires broadened conceptual and working knowledge and experience in job discipline to perform a range of work assignments. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment and precedents to solve problems.

You are expected to provide coaching to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others.

Responsibilities

• Represents the business ISC in front of the Area Commercial teams and in front of the customers
• Contribute for the delivery of the target service levels in the Area of scope, including Get it Right, On Time Delivery of Products, supply chain cost to serve.
• Accountable for the delivery of the target related to complaint handled process and customer experience-complaints.
• Champions Customer Success Teams in the Area, thus creating/maintaining a culture in the businesses where every employee is generating value for the customers and for Dow
• Accountable to understand business needs, identify gaps and collaborate with ISC Improvement Teams in implementing projects to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency in the OTC space
• Works closely with leveraged support functions (in particular Customer Service, Logistics including outplants, Procurement) to ensure the business requirements are most effectively met and share best practices.
• Leads collaboration projects with strategic customers to reduce waste in the E2E Supply Chain and enhance customer and supplier collaboration
• Networks with other Supply Chain Quality Leaders to optimize operations and leverage best practices globally
• Works with Quality, Regulatory and Logistic functions to develop a supply chain strategy to implement applicable quality/regulatory management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 22000, GMP, GDP, etc.) for all aspects of supply chain operations. Where appropriate, facilitate external systems certifications/audits (e.g. ISO 9001, FDA, etc.)
• Ensures effective design, implementation, and deployment of the cross functional Complaint work process for the business in the Area of scope. For example, ensure effective Root Cause Investigations, Containment Actions and minimizes rework on customer complaints
• Support the business in the complaint process and technology implementations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Customer Service Expertise, or Quality
• University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences
