Responsibilities:

Supporting HRBP

• To provide HR Business partnering support to the assigned schools and departments in HR matters and issues.
• To effectively utilise HR information systems and databases to record, update and effectively utilize employee data.
• To provide excellent customer service in responding to enquiries to drive on-time and practical solutions.
• To maintain employee data and files, ensuring they are well organised and up-to-date.
• To support the performance management process, including working with Line Managers and Principals in the collation, analysis and implementation of data and results to drive a high performance culture.

Recruitment and Selection

• To provide support and input to the recruitment process, including application assessment, shortlisting and selection, and onwards to the onboarding and induction of new staff.
• To provide support in recruitment administration, including screening applications and assisting with the organising of interviews and liaising with candidates.
• To liaise with individuals and external organisations, both in Singapore and abroad, to verify candidate references and qualifications.
• To use external online sites such as Job Portals, the Jobs Bank to advertise and manage vacancies.

General HR Administration

• To assist in the organising and administration for learning and development activities and administer the training grant applications across the schools in EtonHouse.
• To Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) on employment pass / S-Pass and work permit applications and renewals as required.
• To assist in the organising of staff events in the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resource or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR related role
• Conversant with the Singapore Employment Act and a good understanding of general HR practices will be an added advantage

• Support EtonHouse Schools to continue to understand and implement the Reggio Approach
• Conduct visits to campuses within EtonHouse to oversee implementation
• Conduct research within EtonHouse & Network schools to understand what is required
• Build and manage a working group / advisory group for Reggio Inspired Educators within EtonHouse
• Support with development of identity witin EtonHouse schools
• Build connections with community – companies and families in Singapore
• Create projects to ensure collaboration between schools, network and Reggio Children - oversee process, progress and deadlines within projects
• Develop and coordinate study groups within Singapore and oversee implementation of approach
• Support the induction and training of educators in the delivery of the Reggio Emilia approach
• Create publications to be published on behalf of EtonHouse & REACH

ACROSS THE REACH NETWORK

• Support other schools within Singapore and South East Asia to continue to understand and implement the Reggio Approach
• Build and manage a working group / advisory group for the REACH network
• Provide opportunities for the network members to grow and learn / construct, arrange, organise professional development sessions, conferences for REACH
• Communicate with REACH Network - Ensure we are visible and accessible as a network across Singapore and the region – social media
• Facilitate meetings and provide opportunities to connect within the Network, encourage projects
• Coordinate with Reggio Children and other networks across the world
• Welcome and host Reggio Children and Network members when they visit Singapore
• Work closely with the relevant teams on the implementation and delivery of events and projects undertaken by REACH as part of the network
• Support the development of content assets for REACH such as the website, social media platforms, marketing materials etc.
• Support with the development and organisation of conferences and exhibitions within the region

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Education or equivalent, or a Bachelor Degree in a subject followed by a PGCE, which is obtained from a recognised University or College.
• At least 2 – 5 years relevant professional teaching experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague with a teaching background in Secondary education and an experienced Mathematics teacher to join a growing, boutique international school in the heart of Singapore. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Mathematics from ages 11 to 18. They will have outstanding subject knowledge and have the ability to enthuse and inspire students, maximizing achievement and progress at all levels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage a lively, enthusiastic, orderly and safe learning environment.

· Deliver the Mathematics curriculum to assigned classes in accordance with the School’s timetable.

· Assess and develop the Mathematics curriculum in the school

· Plan and deliver schemes of work, including the choice of appropriate teaching and learning methods to meet the needs of the subject, and of different students.

· Keep abreast of current developments in Mathematics education and to adapt the curriculum content and methods of teaching and examining as appropriate.

· Identifying appropriate resources within the limits of the school budget.

· Ensure health and safety policies are followed within the Mathematics classrooms.

· Ensure that the Mathematics rooms present stimulating environments, which help to influence students’ attitudes positively towards the subject.

· Ensure students’ work is regularly assessed and that homework is in line with school policy.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll processing and all payroll related payments, and maintain proper filing and documentation of all relevant documents
• Responsible for all tax related matters including but not limited to submission of annual tax returns, tax clearance and advice (non Singaporeans/SPRs) on tax matters
• Perform monthly CPF submission and governmental claims such as NS Reservist Claims, government-paid maternity leave claims, government-paid childcare leave claims etc
• Prepare payroll reports, headcount reports and monthly payroll journal
• Responsible to upkeep employees’ personal data in the Human Resource Management System
• Handle queries on payroll related matters
• Responsible for all leave matters including maintenance of Leave system module
• Responsible for quarterly MOM survey submission
• Assist in any ad-hoc HR projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration or HRM, or related disciplines
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
