· Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and

settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers

· Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders

· Able to work closely with whole tender team and carry out management’s direction

· Attend meetings/ site meetings

· Work closely with teammates

· Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous

· Good communication and negotiation skills

· Pro-active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure

· Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building

· Minimum 1 years of working experience in local Building industry

· Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with mandarin speaking associate)

• Possessed Class 4 or 5 driving license
• Preferably with experience in towing service

Job responsibilities:

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule
• Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site utilities services
• Responsible for the supervision & coordination of M&E works at project site
• Check for discrepancies, defects, inconsistency in drawings
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with requirements
• Supervise /track on-going site works on Master Program
• Assess and verify M&E sub-contractors claims

Qualification:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines from recognized institutions
• Higher-Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ITE

Job Description

• Lead a team of M&E subcontractors and vendors
• Well-versed in M&E compliances with local codes and regulatory requirements
• Experience in M&E testing and commissioning, and handing over to clients
• Supervise work execution and inspections with the Consultants
• Able to chair and/or attend site progress and coordination meetings
• Able to generate work progress reports and schedule
• Able to produce AutoCAD coordination drawings for submission

Requirements

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years experience in M&E Building Services
• Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
• Good command of English
