Your new role
As a Commercial Litigation Associate Lawyer, you will:
Address a range of disputes, including contract issues, insurance claims, professional claims, and other general commercial law matters.
Oversee your own caseload while working collaboratively with the team.
Advocate for clients in court, preparing and presenting cases with the assistance of our experienced team or specialist barristers.
Implement Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques such as negotiation and mediation to resolve conflicts effectively.
Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other necessary court filings.
Offer legal advice and consultations to clients on their business transactions and potential disputes.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Skilled in client advocacy, agreement negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Experienced in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
Able to manage multiple cases at once and thrive under pressure.
Proficient in using litigation technology to handle electronic records and data.
4+ years PQE in litigation.
