Job Description

• Operate a Class 4 Lorry, ensuring safe and timely transportation of products to designated locations.

• Load and unload products carefully, following company safety protocols.

• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects, showcasing the value proposition of our products/services and addressing client concerns.
• Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close sales deals.
• Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

• Minimum a year of sales experience in Logistics & Supply Chain industry
• Preferably with local sales experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean & Cross border road trucking )
• Possess strong hunter mentality, business sense and industry expertise
• Added advantage if the candidate has an existing client base

• Having existing small to large profile customers on hand.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Provide support to customer service team when required, in order to speed up the process and achieve higher level of customer satisfaction
• Assist customers to resolve issues faced when shipping through our services in a timely manner so as to prevent cumulative cost (if any) and damages.
