Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and selection, on-boarding and off-boarding, employee engagement activities, training and development, performance management, and other HR related projects
• Handle the administration of the recruitment process, including drafting and updating of job advertisements, posting of job advertisements, screening and filtering of candidates, arranging and conducting of interviews and preparing of salary offers
• Ensure that all HR transactional activities and standards comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards
• Administer the HRMS and update employees’ database in a timely and accurate basis. Liaise with service providers for resolution of issues when necessary
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through various channels, including job boards, social media, internship, career fairs and networking events
• Prepare required documents for various relevant grants offered by the government agencies
• Advice employees on HR matters e.g. policies and procedures, employee rewards & benefits
• Identify learning needs, organise internal and external training for staff to improve job competency and bridge learning gaps
• Generate training reports and survey and evaluate effectiveness of training
• Process training grants applications
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requested or assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or business administration
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant HR experience preferably from the Food and Beverage sector
• Familiar with Singapore labour laws and Foreign Work Pass Regulations/Procedures
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to speak and write in Chinese to communicate with Mandarin speaking staff
• Self-driven, positive, pro-active, highly motivated individual

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle Full Set of Accounts.
• Inter-Company balances and transactions reconciliation.
• Monthly closing of accounts, schedules, reconciliations and reports.
• Quarterly GST reporting.
• Full spectrum of AR & AP duties.
• Prepare and review financial statements of the Company.
• Ensure proper recording and filing of documents.
• Ensure completeness of documentation (including approvals) for all invoices and credit notes issued.
• Daily update of General Journal and input of all accounts data into ERP Software.
• Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB would be an advantage.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time by Management

Responsibilities

• Report to and work closely with the Catering Operations Manager
• Loading and unloading of equipment and food
• Punctual delivery of food and setting up of events according to Delivery Order requirements
• Compliant to the mandatory hygiene and safety standards and requirements
• Responsible for proper handling of catering equipment.
• Liaise with clients on set-up requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of operations staff to ensure the highest level of efficiency in the delivery of services and SOPs to customers in accordance with the catering agreement or contracts.
• Assist the Catering Operations Manager with the entire catering operations.
• Enforce compliance to the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements.
• Ensure that kitchen operations meet delivery timeline and inventory integrity.
• Create and enforce the best operational procedures.
• Scheduling of daily delivery and resolving daily delivery issues
• Work closely with Kitchen and Sales departments to address operational challenges, implement best practices, and maintain high standards of service.
• Optimise the entire operations workflow including warehousing and storage
• Implement and enforce clear operational hygiene standards and processes
• Oversee and monitor all operations and logistics for all catering events
• Manage manpower planning to suit different catering needs

Job Requirements:

• Min ‘ITE’ or ‘Diploma’ Qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant working experience

ROLES & DESCRIPTION

· Conduct departmental daily briefings to ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members.

· Supervise team members to ensure that all tasks assigned/required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards.

· Build a good relationship with guests or regular patrons. Try to remember individual patron’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service.

· Handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently.

· Handle all administration work pertaining to cashier/bar operation requirement and company’s policies.

· Check the supply of equipment/stock level and ensure that there is no shortage of items which have impact on the operation and guests.

· Check the outlet/back of the house cleanliness to ensure that it is in compliant with F&B sanitation and hygiene rules and regulations.

· Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features.

· Ensure that health, safety and security procedures are in place in the outlet.

· Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.

Team Management

· Identify and develop team members with potential.

· Develop, conduct, and maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business.

· Prepare weekly staff schedules keeping in mind anticipated business, operating budgets and standards of service.

· Conduct monthly departmental meetings to provide information to team members, obtain their feedback, rectify operation issues and provide a regular forum for department communication.

Banquet Management

· Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the department.

· Assist in the management of all Banquet operations to include, but not limited to, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.

· Supervises food and beverage set up and clean up.

· Assist in planning, organizing and executing all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.

Job Requirements

· Minimally a Diploma / Certificate in Hospitality Management (Food & Beverage)

· Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage

· Well versed in English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

· Ability to speak other languages will be an advantage.

· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity

· Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

· Ideally with proven track record in managing over 100- seater in all-day dining restaurant operations.
