Organica (UK) Limited is a privately-owned company specialising in the production and supply of household laundry and cleaning products. We supply national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products.
We are looking for full-time Procurement Stock Controller to work in our production site in Birkenhead, Wirral.
The normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
The working hours will be as follows:
• Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
As a Procurement Stock Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the production team efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining accurate records.
Duties
• Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating order processing, and resolving all enquiries or issues promptly and efficiently.
• Liaise with internal departments such as production, logistics, and sales to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of contract terms, renewal dates, and obligations.
• Monitor open orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and replenishing orders as needed.
• Maintain up-to date records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Carrying out physical stock checks as and when required and ensure that all any stock anomalies are investigated thoroughly.
• Ensuring that all relevant KPI reporting documents are correctly maintained.
Experience
• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills, including all of Microsoft Packages
• Fork lift truck licence useful but not essential.
