ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. The Network and Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. This role involves working with a variety of technologies to support our internal systems and contribute to ongoing projects aimed at enhancing our IT environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Plan, develop, deploy, test, and optimize network and system services, ensuring reliability across multiple operating systems.
• Maintain configuration management processes to track system setups.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for network issues, resolving incidents quickly.
• Develop and manage the organization’s cybersecurity capabilities while addressing threats in the context of network systems.
• Specify, procure, maintain, and support IT hardware and software to ensure performance.
• Manage a support desk service for network, systems, and cybersecurity issues, ensuring timely resolution and training as needed.
• Participate in and lead IT projects, working with team members and vendors to meet project goals.
• Maintain system documentation and generate reports for management on system status and project updates.
ABOUT YOU
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware and protocols.
• Programming knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates initiative in implementing best practice systems.
• Ability to make decisions and never afraid to ask questions.
