Responsibilities:

• Perform technical solutions in medium or large size engineering in centrifugal inline pump products and packages (like fire water pumps packages in line with NFPA 20 standard guideline).
• Create engineering drawings and specifications for components, products and mechanical designs working with internal and external customers through the development and approval process.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of product master data in ERP system as per latest updates required by sales, purchasing, production and aftermarket.
• Provide technical support to customer solution engineering, product improvement within Engineering and to other stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain product data books, instruction and operation manuals.
• Work with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, Sales, executive management, and others to develop winning solutions.
• Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design or detail components.
• Proactive technical communication, execution with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders during end-to-end project execution.
• Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area.
• Work proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company.
• Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Education & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 5+ years of experience in product development (preferably in pump products and systems in marine applications such as package engineering, hydraulic power packs and diesel engine driven systems).
• Experience with mechanical designs involving rotative equipment, steel structures, piping required.
• Ability to use AutoCAD, 3D CAD required, good understanding of CAD & GD&T standards.
• Good knowledge on sustaining engineering and ability to use enterprise software.
• Basic understanding centrifugal pumps and pumping systems.
• Efficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and the internet.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain good cooperation with colleagues in service departments across the organization.
• Management of Service engineers, with assistance from service coordinator.
• Team player, collaborate with the resource team in the organization.
• Working Environment and Safety representative.
• Maintain good cooperation with colleagues in service departments across the organization.
• Ensure our FSE's are having the right training before they are sent on assignments.
• Hiring qualified Service engineers for the FS team.
• Heading the coordination of engineers in Asia & Pacific.
• Keep skills matrix up to date Bi-Weekly/Monthly.
• Ensure the pool of Service engineers are covering all types of competences according to the skills matrix and historical data from planner system.
• Ensure correct coordination of FSE's across the globe to ensure we utilize the people closest to their home country.
• Ensure all Service engineers adhere to the Safety & Health booklet
• Appreciation interviews 2 times a year per employee.
• Ensure Service engineers fill out Risk Assessment on each job assignment.
• Participate in courses
• Coordinate calibration of SE special tools.
• Arrange service day for SG service department, beginning of each year.

What do we offer you?
Within monitoring business performance your primary responsibilities will include maintaining internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets, as well as actual expenditures. Additionally, in close collaboration with our Group CFO and Head of Group Controlling, you will establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a regular basis, including biweekly, monthly, and annually, while acting as a business advisor for the management team in Svanehoj Singapore.

You will be responsible for implementing and safeguarding consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, while adhering to international and local legal standards and staying updated on proposed legislation. Furthermore, you will develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows. Monthly consolidation and reporting of Svanehøj’s financial performance will be an important task as well.

Who are you?
We are seeking a Business Controller with strong skills in managing complex datasets and delivering actionable financial insights. In this role, you will be bridging management and operations, ensuring clear communication of financial data and aligning strategic goals with operational performance.

You should have a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, as well as the capability to work independently and in teams. It's important that you are structured in your work and pay keen attention to details.

To be considered for the position as a Business Controller, you have:

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field.
• +3 years of experience in a financial role, ideally in a controller or senior financial analyst position.
• Proven experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in international business or multi-site operations can be beneficial.

Furthermore, you are fluent in English both written and spoken.
