We are looking to appoint an associate lecturer for a new post, working with the Central Apprenticeship Team. The post holder will prepare and deliver all academic components relating to the new Entry to Higher Education Apprenticeship Programme (EHEAP) and contribute to the effective management of and organisation of the programme management functions in liaison with a wide range of internal and external agencies. You will plan, deliver, and assess the EHEAP programme to (up to) three cohorts of learners in the first year, and will contribute to the successful initial advice and guidance signposting EHEAP graduates to appropriate degree apprenticeships programmes at the University of Bolton.



Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, such as working on the planning and delivery of academic skills programmes, or Access to HE (level 3) programmes, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential. The University has been awarded funding to support the development of and increase enrolment on level 6 apprenticeships, and to develop and deliver a new 'Entry to HE Apprenticeship Programme' (EHEAP) starting in spring 2025.

To successfully support widening participation on these programmes, a Project Coordinator – Disability, Wellbeing, and Student Support professional is required, who will manage the implementation of the new EHEAP programme and provide a network of support and signposting activity to new students. They will also provide information, advice and guidance on accessing support from pre-application to post-graduation stage and give advice and guidance to university colleagues on support arrangements for learners including providing disability awareness training.

The post holder will have experience of project management in a HE or FE setting, and have up to date knowledge of policies and procedures relating to disability, wellbeing, and student support.

UoB Services Limited are looking for a Services Assistant to work in a busy catering department with varied outlets across the university campus and will work under general direction of the Catering Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Serving guests with food, drinks and refreshments to the company standard
• Reporting any client queries, problems or accidents to your Line Manager
• Operating a till in line with company standards. Training to be provided
• Disposing of rubbish.
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
• Assist and execute various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to
• Ensure equipment supplied is used with care, in accordance with suppliers’ instructions and training
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any faults immediately.
• Support the delivery and serving of food
• Be clean, hygienic and well presented at all times.
• Adhering to food safety policies with particular reference to personal hygiene and appearance
• Carry out reasonable duties that may be requested by the company
• Barista duties after training
• Food service-functions after training

To be successful in the role, you will be expected to have previous experience working in a catering role, be punctual, reliable and flexible. Be passionate and motivated and happy to work as part of a team.
