The Centre Program Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the overall management and operations of the ASEAN Applied Research Centre. We are on a lookout for a Tax Manager, who is hands-on and proactive team player who helps to manage and oversee the Group’s tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax reporting and provide tax advisory to internal stakeholders; and to support projects and ad-hoc duties, as required from time to time. Responsibilities:

Tax governance & policy matters

• Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will ensure compliance with relevant tax and transfer pricing regulations across all entities in the Group, Singapore and regional (Greater China, India, ASEAN)

• Assist with the implementation of the Group Tax Strategy and the roll-out of tax policies, tax controls processes and best practices

• Manage event budgeting and handle procurement of vendors.
• Act as the main liaison with the different vendors/partners mentioned to ensure quality and timely deliverables that meet expectations.
• Oversee venue setup (physical and digital) to ensure that events run smoothly.
• Serve as the main liaison for security clearances, rehearsals, and pre-event setup.
• Manage event registration and the RSVP process.
• Design event collaterals, including posters, backdrops, and event marketing assets.
• Perform video editing tasks.
• Generate post-event reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of event management experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Canva for graphic design.
• Proficient in iMovie or other video editing software.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Support various Business unit, ongoing projects and for new projects
• Design and implement successful logistics solutions
• Commissioning of various warehouse automation projects such as ASRS, Mini Load, AutoStore and Autonomous Vehicle
• Data analysis on storage and productivity statistics
• Warehouse storage design: Machinery & equipment design and procurement; workforce & equipment planning; logistics process design; inventory transfer & rearrangement planning; and integrating supply chain knowledge into warehouse design
• Using knowledge of local Warehouse Management System (WMS) to integrate this into the overall design of the facility
• Support global automation, innovation and modernisation warehouse projects
• Ensure projects are executed in a timely manner and completion timelines are adhered to
• To support warehouse solutioning and planning for new project, but not limit to – storage designs for optimization, warehouse product flow, space planning, update drawing etc.
• Compilation of all documents related to Facility & Project development department including equipment, building and equipment licenses, BCP, Risk assessment procedure updates and upkeep of documentation control.
• Preparing and reviewing of project cost comparison, project timeline and scheduling for facility projects.
• Manage assets enhancements including leading in several initiatives to optimize the yield of property assets through budget and financial planning and cost control, building upgrading programs, implementation of intelligent building technologies, energy and water conservation programs.
• Upkeep the records of the purchase and capture the cost incurred in the facility & Project department to update management on a regular basis.
• Performs other job-related duties as and when required by superior.
• Manage and supervise contractors’ work as well as liaising with consultants and authorities

Requirements:

• Background in supply chain, logistics, industrial or mechanical engineering
• Experience in warehouse storage and handling system design and implementation experience (such as traditional racking, handling equipment, processing area setup)
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint & AutoCAD
• Building inclusive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to problem solve, set priorities and deal with uncertainty
• International travelling will be on a need’s basis.
