Are you an experienced, enthusiastic person looking to work in a school where we encourage children to be curious and take their learning outside where possible? We are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant, with good knowledge of Year 5 and Year 6 , from the New Year.Badbury Park Primary School moved into a state-of-the-art new building in November 2020. We are passionate about outdoor learning, education for social responsibility and forest school and we have wonderful green spaces to bring the curriculum alive. We have engaged, happy learners in beautiful, authentic learning spaces with carefully chosen versatile resources that provoke creativity, curiosity, and concentration. The new school building is spacious, and purpose built with the latest technology including an immersive room, VR headsets, coding robots and a 3D printer; it offers a large hall, calming classrooms and a group room per year group. The successful applicant will: Be fun, creative and enthusiastic with a love for outdoor learning Have extensive experience of working in a KS2 setting Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents and other staff Be innovative and flexible, yet rigorous with an eye for detail Be passionate about inclusive practice Be adaptable to support the growth of our new school Have excellent organisation and time management skillsPlease see the person specification attached for full details. The hours of work will be Monday-Friday 08.30-3.15pm, term time only plus teacher training days.
