Role Overview:
As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the performance of field operation and maintenance duties across several assets, facilities, and plants within your assigned area. Acting as a technical and local point of contact for gas suppliers and customers, you will ensure installations are maintained in excellent condition while adhering to regulatory safety and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sites and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Support contractors on-site, ensuring safe interventions using permits and LOTO procedures.
• Apply regulatory safety rules across all responsible sites.

The Sarcoma Team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to join our friendly and supportive team as a Clinical Specialist Nurse. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work at one of fifteen specialised sarcoma centres in England and Wales within a well-developed yet expanding team where you can enhance and develop your knowledge with support from enthusiastic colleagues.Due to the specialised nature of this work, no specific sarcoma experience is necessary.

The East Midlands Sarcoma Service manage in excess of 150 new soft tissue sarcoma per year but also investigate hundreds of people who they are able to reassure do not have cancer.

The Clinical Specialist Nurse will support patients predominantly from referral through to diagnosis, supporting patients through an anxious time. There will be a focus on early diagnosis to achieve cancer targets and improve patient outcomes. They will provide expert advice and co-ordinate complex diagnostic pathways. They will be an integral member of the sarcoma MDT, working closely with Consultant surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, histopathologists as well as the Clinical Nurse Specialists, Specialist AHPs and administrative teams.

The Clinical Specialist Nurse will be trained to run independent nurse led clinics and willneed to form a relationship with patients along their journey and to present information to the multidisciplinary team. They will independently manage nurse led protocolised pathways for benign soft tissue tumours. Your new company
You will be joining an industry leading sub-contractor within the Civil Engineering industry who have a number of schemes on the National Highways SDF Framework within the Midlands region specialising in street lighting instillation and design.

Your new role
You'll be managing street lighting and traffic signal schemes on National Highways SDF across the Midlands area. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, developing project schedules and budgets, assist with project scope and design whilst preparing project status reports. Furthermore, you will liaise with external stakeholders such as the client and report progress to the operational team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience working on street lighting or traffic signal projects previously as a Project Manager. You will hold a CSCS Gold or Black card and an electrical background isn't essential, but strongly preferred.

Encourage ward/department staff to be involved in the management of resources, by effective use of clinical and non-clinical supplies and understanding of financial issues. Contribute to the work of time limited committees and project groups. Ensure that, where applicable, information is maintained and kept in an appropriate place and that accurate records are maintained and stored in accordance with Trust and national policy. Be a major instrument of change within the clinical area in response to clinical incidents and/or demands. Participate in acting-up rota as required, holding the directorate/floor bleep as necessary. Support the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in ensuring the development and ongoing management of work rosters that provide appropriate safe staff cover. Ensure high quality, evidence-based care is offered to patients and, incollaboration with the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, identify the common issues which affect the quality of care, devising clear action plans to address any shortcomings ensuring agreed action is undertaken. Improve and maintain standards of essential (basic) nursing care by working with the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse and using tools such as clinical benchmarking. Support the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in ensuring clinical audit takes place in line with the Trusts requirements to improve practice.
