We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.
The opportunity: We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Transitions Service Manager to join Toll Group in our Transitions business unit based in Winnellie, Darwin. Toll Transitions is a business unit which delivers relocations and removal services to Australian Defence Force personnel. As the Transitions Service Manager you will be a hands on Manager who will guide the small team on all service requirements and performance outcomes. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to manage all providers and suppliers involved in the provision of removal services. As the Transitions Service Manager, you will:
Managing and developing the team in performing a range of services which includes conducting Pre-Removal Visits (PRVs), Removal Service visits (RSVs) and assessment of Notice of Loss or Damage.
Conduct Store-house inspections and Provider Performance reviews in consultation with the Regional Manager.
Develop strong relationships with Providers, maintaining mechanisms of review while promoting innovative solutions to ensure that successful delivery of contract requirements.
Assisting the Regional Manager with the reporting of Provider WHS incidents and safety conversations via TRAC and initiate programs to drive reporting and addressing safety incidents and accidents.
Ensure all organisation and statutory regulations in relation to compliance and safety are implements and adhered to by Providers and Toll staff.
About you:
A full open drivers license
Ability to gain an Australian Government security clearance: Australian citizenship required.
Ability to guide a small team, providing clear direction to achieve business objectives and results in a positive manner
High level Customer service skills, a positive hands on approach, can-do attitude with very strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, sound organisational and strong administration skills.
Be a great team player with the ability to influence in a positive manner
Skills in; Excel, Word and Outlook.
Previous experience in a the removal industry is preferable but not essential.
