What does a live-in carer do?
As a live-in care assistant in Scotland, you’ll provide personalised care that enables clients to stay in their own homes. We offer flexible rota patterns to help you balance work and personal life, and we welcome carers with at least six months of professional experience. You’ll stay with your client during your chosen rota pattern, caring for one person (or sometimes a couple) and following a tailored care plan. Duties include daily activities, personal care, condition management, and household tasks. You’ll typically work an average of 8–10 hours per day, with daily rates based on hours worked.

About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full.
You might already be working as a live-in carer, or you might have professional experience as a support worker, care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting, or you might be a HCA working with the NHS. If you share our passion for quality care, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 months’ professional care experience gained in any care setting

Job Description

South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking to appoint to the permanent post of Senior Manager Business Support following the retirement of the interim post holder. This is a relatively new post for South Ayrshire HSCP which brings together the management and leadership of business support staff from both the NHS and South Ayrshire Council. The post holder will have both strategic and operational responsibility for the business support function within the partnership which fulfils a critical role in the delivery of health and care services to citizens in South Ayrshire. The role includes responsibility for the general management of NHS premises occupied by the partnership. Health and safety within these premises also forms part of the remit of the post. The post holder is a member of the Directorate Management Team and reports directly to the Director of Health and Social Care. A review of the local authority elements of the role has recently concluded and additional investment to support the team has been agreed which it is intended will enhance the contribution of the service to operational delivery.

About the role

As a Care Assistant/Carer on our team, you’ll care for our residents like they’re your own family. It’s all about looking after their physical, psychological and social needs, and day to day you’ll help with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. Job Description

What is the role?

To provide a full administration support service including basic supervision of employees, and scheduling of work activities for themselves and others, problem solving, financial processing and working within established procedures.

What is the role?

Under the direction of a manager to be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support staff in ensuring that assessments and reviews are completed timeously in line with national and local performance targets.

Promote a positive performance culture across the Partnership.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 12; the hourly rate is from £26.91 to £28.55 and the annual salary is from £49,111 to £52,104.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal Offer of Employment being made.
