1. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Under supervision to provide assessment, treatment and ongoing management of patients participating in a clinical research trial. To be able to independently provide very brief advice on lifestyle advice, including physical activity, smoking cessation and weight management. 2. RESPONSIBILITY FOR PATIENTS Ensuring all research enquiries are effectively managed by being successfully resolved or escalated to the Trial Coordinator within a prompt timescale Ensuring all relevant people are informed and an appropriate record is maintained Liaising and effectively communicating at all levels using written, oral and electronic methods Using tact and sensitivity to deal with difficult issues. Ensure that research participants are booked appropriately following recruitment into a clinical trial.
