Job Description:
The HR Generalist will support the organization at the professional level through a variety of HR processes for various business segments of the platform. The position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels in the organization. This is an on-site role at our global headquarters in Green Bay, WI.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support to team members and leaders throughout the team member lifecycle, including onboarding, focused touch bases, leaves, accommodations, proactive performance management coaching, talent reviews, and goal development.
- Assist with company-wide initiatives such as annual healthcare enrollment, policy implementation, compliance, compensation event, wellbeing initiatives, and recognition.
- Heavy engagement in Workday HRIS system including completion of business processes for direct hires, recruited hires, promotions, compensation changes, terminations, etc.
- Collaborate with local and globally based teams through open communication and standard processes.
- Ensure consistent compliance with employment legislation.
- Assign and monitor team member completion of training requirements.
- Promote or assist with corporate wellness and benefit programs and initiatives.
- Participate in and/or lead special projects.
- May conduct team member training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 5 years of generalist experience, or an associate degree and more than 5 years of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Demonstrate high level of competency in the areas of employee relations, counseling, performance management, and training.
- Experience in organizational development and change management.
- Working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions (including by not limited to FMLA, EEO, ADA etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and sustain positive relationships at all levels of the organization, operating with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work with and preserve confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Highly flexible and can be called upon to lead projects as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities.
- Possesses strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies.
- Strong proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite; very strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrates analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel, if/when needed.
