Key Responsibilities



- Helping steer the Agile Release Train (ART) by working with the Product Managers and Release Train Engineer’s (RTE’s) to provide the necessary guidance to the train.
- Working Proactively with the Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment between both the ART and the organisation’s technology landscape and target state architecture.
- Ensuring system design evolves whilst considering both the practical reality of implementation and architectural intent.

The role
As a Mobile Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll repair motor vehicles (HGVs) and Specialist Fire Service modules and equipment, ranging from 26T HGV down to a 3kw generator plus everything in between.

Day to day, you'll be working within a small team of engineers who cover the whole of the UK. You'll travel to jobs over the target area and ensure they are completed efficiently; cover reactive maintenance, servicing and repair of vehicles, equipment, components and accessories used by the fire service, fault finding and coming up with solutions in order to ensure the customers demands are met and ensure only approved parts are used for the jobs assigned.

• Testing and diagnosing faults using recognised test procedures and techniques. Including road testing were deemed necessary. To drive in a manner within the parameters of the law
• Work in an efficient and productive manner to achieve targets set out and agreed with the engineering Manager
• Ensure you can keep up to date records, utilising company IT systems, of work progress and liaise with managed service centre and line management
• To observe, recognise and report on defects and/or symptoms of impending failure. Correct completion of relevant forms and ensuring unfair wear and tear items are reported on the system for recharge
• Only approved parts accounted for by the stores department are to be fitted to vehicles/equipment with the department being advised on whether a rechargeable cost

This role is full time working Monday - Friday and is fully remote based in West Yorkshire. There is a requirement to travel to allocated jobs on a daily basis. Oncall bonus is achieved through working 1 in 4 weekends.

Essential experience of the Mobile Technician:

• Experience in repair and testing of hydraulic systems, AC and DC electrical systems, diagnosis, and repair and experience in the repair of hand power tools
• Understanding of Health & Safety Legislation along with knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 and knowledge of HGV/LGV technical specifications, maintenance, and repair requirements
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent communication and relationship building skills

Qualifications for the Mobile Technician:

• Mechanical experience / Servicing and repair to MOT standard of HGVs/LGVs with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification
• Full UK Class C driving licence

Main Duties/ Responsibilities 1. To assist in the development of the aseptic service. 2. To practice as an expert practitioner, providing advice and consultancy to patients, healthcare professionals and other agencies relating to pharmaceutical aspects of aseptic services within the department and on the wards/clinical areas. 3. To operate as an authorised pharmacist within the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit. 4. To participate in, and if needed, lead on the training of Pharmacy staff within the department relating to aseptic services. 5. To support the maintenance and development of Standard Operating Procedures, staff training and approval records, physical and microbiological monitoring records and other records deemed necessary by the MHRA or regional QA specialists. 6. To ensure that all aseptically prepared medicines are produced in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). 7. To support monitoring of the environment and working practices to assure the quality of products and safety of staff. To assess risks against clinical need and make judgements when problems arise with the air handling unit, environment, facility issues or staffing. 8. To support the Lead Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager in preparation for, and completion of actions resulting from, external audits from the MHRA in relation to licensed activity/ regional QC and accredited NHS inspectors for unlicensed activity. 9. Reducing pharmaceutical waste by utilising patients own drugs in the discharge process. 5. Within your designated clinical area of responsibility, ensure best practice and clinical governance is applied to drug therapy by providing medical and nursing staff with: a. Appropriate drug information b. Support in writing clinical guidelines c. Participation in and delivery of education and training d. Undertaking clinical audit and practice research e. Ensuring procedures for the introduction and monitoring of new drugs are followed f. Monitoring of drug expenditure and provision of advice on the financial implications of changes in practice g. Train, and act as role model to pharmacy staff allocated to specialty h. Liaise with community medical nursing and pharmacy staff to ensure effective and seamless care 6. Provide clinical pharmacy and prescribing services within the Trust as an independent prescriber (as required). 7. Support the Associate Director of Pharmacy Cancer, Technical Services and Clinical Trials in achieving long-term objectives of the department and its strategic direction including devising and reviewing SOPs and guidelines as needed. 8.
