The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.

Day to day, you'll operate in support of Project Managers covering specific project tasks, deputising for the lead Project Manager or sometimes managing non-complex projects under supervision. You'll be expected to apply the central project management competencies to a sufficient level. You'll also:

Job Description

Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Adult social Care Business Support Officer with Cheshire west and Chester council.

Cheshire West and Chester council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake a range of administrative activities, including minute taking, the production and distribution of documents, correspondence, extremely sensitive data and information; and the organisation and servicing of meetings and events, as part of the service support function, linking in with corporate systems in order to contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of operational services.
• Receive, prioritize and, where appropriate, respond to routine and more complex enquiries, both verbal and/or in writing, from a wide range of contacts using discretion in forming responses and referring matters to management as necessary so that advice on the area of work dealt with by the section is consistently given in accordance with agreed policies and within defined procedures.
• Undertake research on identified cross service issues, identify problems by continuous review and make recommendations for improvement within the support function, so as to contribute to the achievement of the sections overall service objectives.
• Independently resolve care plan queries of regular and complex care plans for clints referring to team/manager/TCS/Finance Accountants/Providers as necessary. Reload correct plans, submitting for approval by manager. This ensures correct payment and correct budget costs.

Having previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, however this is not a requirement.

We are recruiting for a person centred, passionate and motivated Project Manager to lead a team at our supported living service in the Knowsley area. This bespoke service enables people with complex needs, autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and mental health needs to lead fulfilling, happy and rewarding lives within a high quality community based setting.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of care and support to our service users. You will be an experienced learning disability/autism practitioner with the ability to develop structured programmes of communication, personalised support and positive behaviour management. You will work closely with families and other professionals and will have the ability to supervise and mentor a staff team. You will help to deliver a consistent, person centred service which meets the needs and preferences of individuals.

You will have previous experience, knowledge and a good understanding of working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism. You must be skilled in assessment and support planning, using a variety of methods such as, communication pathways & positive behaviour support strategies. You will manage and deploy staff effectively to meet the needs of service users, you will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You must have a hands-on approach and be able to role model and mentor staff. A relevant social care qualification is essential (RNLD, BASW, DipSW Diploma Level 5). Applicants must possess a clean and valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our client based in Sandbach on a permanent basis.

Our client is a leading business within the construction industry. The purpose of this role is to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the customers
satisfaction, matching if not exceeding their expectations of a Delta experience, and what value we have promised to provide particularly around a hassle free, quick, installation.

Salary:
£55,000-£65,000 per annum

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
8am until 4pm

The Role:
Primarily working in the 'Bespoke' division on projects or elements of projects that aren't in our core product range. In most cases the work will be subcontracted out to approved partners. The only overlap into the core division is continuing to produce the monthly CVR reports.

• Agree how the project should be divided up and staged, to best suit the customers programme requirements while ensuring maximum efficiency of Delta site visits and minimum project WIP.
• Work with the finance and admin team to ensure the project account is set up to align with reporting requirements
• Work with Delta's Quantity Surveyor to explore ways to maximise the commercial success of the project.
• Attend pre-let meetings on new projects
• Carry out Pre-start meetings or delegate as necessary.
• Manage budgets and recover costs.

Qualifications / Experience:

• SMSTS or IOSH qualifications
• Advanced Project Management qualifications. For example, Prince2 or PMP etc
• Desirable - Degree qualified and chartered or equivalent professional qualification where possible
• 15 years of direct construction related experience.
• 8 years' experience in management of projects in the construction & refurb sectors
• 3 years' experience in working with architectural/fit-out construction products such as bfacades, balustrades, finishes etc.
