As part of the Desktop Quality Assurer (QA) team, you will:


Ensure high standards of delivery by monitoring work submitted
Running group consistency sessions to maintain excellence
Champion personal development among all staff by making referrals to the Development QA Team
Facilitate External Quality Assurance (EQA) sessions, acting as an ambassador for HIT Training Ltd in both quality of work and processes


About you

We're looking for a professional and confident individual with the following skills and experience:


A Level 5 or above Early Years Qualification (or similar)
A Level 4 TAQA qualification
Recent sector experience within Early Years
Ideally some experience in EQA and sampling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
An accredited coaching qualification is a plus

Job Purpose

The internship will provide an opportunity to learn the aspects of Compliance and Anti Money Laundering.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will assist the Compliance Team in:

• Supporting the Business with Know Your Client (KYC) reviews of existing clients, assessing the adequacy/completeness of the KYC information, source of wealth/funds, narrative and corroboration, enhanced due diligence, transaction review, and ensuring overall compliance with Bank procedural standards.
• Supporting the Business with name screening alerts triggered for existing client relationships to ensure sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons, and adverse media screenings, whether false or true matches, investigation, and escalation to the Relationship Managers;
• Assessing and escalating newly identified risk indicators, changes in risk rating, or unusual transaction patterns during reviews;
• Assisting the team in preparing statistics for Management reporting and support in projects and process improvement initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance for outsourcing and third-party service management with respective process owners.
• Assist to build, review and assess existing controls; make recommendations and implement modifications and improvements
• Assist to conduct risk assessments, maintain and update the business risk register with reference to company developments
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure proper documentation of policies and procedures applicable to the key controls of significant business processes.
• Support with requests from regulators and auditors
• Perform other duties as directed

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in operational risk management, internal audit, compliance or internal controls of regulated financial institutions
• Knowledge of business process reviews and internal control frameworks in the payment industry is advantageous
• Proactive and energetic, able to deliver within timeline and provide timely updates on work progress
• Excellent communication skills who is able to grasp and handle ambiguities
