We're looking for a compliance solicitor to join us at Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, we'll look to you to be our technical specialist in regulatory compliance, providing compliance oversight and strategic support to the business for all legal and regulatory requirements. You'll work collaboratively with the compliance manager on providing expertise relating to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) code of conduct, operational governance, regulatory compliance framework, data protection, anti-money laundering, complaint handling, professional indemnity insurance and negligence claims. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Advisor is responsible for conducting Internal Audits across our Highways department. Who you are:

You will have previous experience working in a similar Internal Audit or Quality Assurance role and hold the relevant Auditor Qualification, covering ISO9001 Quality Management certification.

• Experience of working in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control related role previously
• Experience in carrying out audits to the ISO9001 standard and preparing reports.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication
• Ability to prioritise workload and re-schedule accordingly ensuring that all timescales are adhered to

As our next Engineering Apprentice starting on 2nd September 2024, you'll be a valued integral part of our Plant Vehicle Quality team. As part of your role, you’ll be instrumental in driving the resolution of quality issues by ensuring we contribute to the success of the business.

You're not the type to shy away from challenges or responsibility. You thrive on being part of a team while also being able to work independently. Enthusiasm, confidence and having the ability to build relationships are all traits that define you.

You will get the chance to have exposure from quality issues to problem solving. You would get involved in continuous improvement projects, and data management, which would provide exposure to a range of skills.

Within this role, you would have the opportunity to support the wider team across different departments such as Metrology, Supplier parts Quality, Production, Manufacturing & Engineering.

The Key Requirements...

Achieved 5 GCSE’s (or relevant or equivalent qualification) to include a Level 4 and above in Maths and English
You’ll have hobbies and interests which reflect your interest in fixing and repairing things or creativity.
You'll enjoy problem solving with a logical and structured approach.
