About the role
This role is a key leadership appointment with the responsibility to manage and important commercial segment of the business. The role will require the incumbent to managing a diverse set of strategically key customers of Diversey – a Solenis company and work with teams spread across the Asia Pacific countries. The role is part of Diversey’s F&B business division.
The key responsibilities for the role entail
- Implement global and regional account strategy
- Deliver the growth plan for the Sector
- Grow market share of Diversey within the key accounts of the Sector
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through net promoter scorecard. Lead and motivate the country sales team to reach and exceed customer expectations
- Identify customer need and deliver value through Diversey’s product/service portfolio
- Thorough understanding of customer potential
- Work with Technical team to expand customer potential through innovations
- Monitor and improve upon service delivery models
- Work with country business teams to deliver the promise to customers
- Actively be involved in coaching and development of various teams
- Actively collaborate with other functions like supply chain, technical, HR as per business needs
The role will require extensive travel as per business needs
External interface
- Senior leaders, mid level managers and operating teams in customer organizations – Technical, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Food Safety etc
- Senior leaders in OEMs that cater to the industry
- Key contacts in various industry bodies
Internal interface
- Cluster business leaders, Country business leaders
- Country sales and technical teams
- Functional leaders and teams in Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance etc
- Regional Vice President
- Global Account Management teams – commercial and technical
Industry background of the incumbent
While it is not mandatory, it is preferable for the incumbent to have experience in or from the below industries
- Key account manager or client servicing executive of a product and services company like hygiene, water treatment, specialty chemicals and other B2B manufacturing/services industries etc
- Exposure to the food & beverage manufacturing industry can be desirable but not mandatory
- OEM to the food & beverage industry, key material supplier to the food & beverage industry
Education & skill background
- Should have a technical background
- Undergraduate degree or post graduate degree in engineering; food/dairy technology; chemistry; science. This position needs to have a good understanding of technical issues.
- Management qualification is desirable but not essential
- Good command over English language is mandatory
The Key Account Manager - Brewing APAC, will be responsible for driving profitable business growth at specific key/strategic accounts in the Asia Pacific market. The incumbent will be responsible for nurturing and developing the talent pool for the Asia Pacific business
