Our Manufacturing footprint is divided into multiple clusters. In this position you will manage the EMEA Cluster Dialzyers, Solutions and Concentrates. This cluster is covering six manufacturing sites located in France, Germany (2), Spain, UK and Russia. Additionally, you will take on the role of Plant Leader in France. Reporting directly to the EVP Manufacturing & Supply Chain, this dual responsibility offers a unique opportunity to lead and coordinate manufacturing activities across multiple sites while serving as a key site leader in our French operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Driving operational and strategic excellence for a world-class, agile, and reliable “engine” that satisfies the operational needs of Medical Technology Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Provides leadership to the plant leaders in your cluster.
- Taking the lead in formulating and executing the strategy for the designated cluster, foreseeing mega-trends, navigating complex challenges and opportunities, and ensuring seamless integration with the broader corporate strategy.
- Supports the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Head in the development of strategic directions for the business of FMC.
- Serving as the Plant leader for our French Plant.
Critical Deliverables
- Establishes a world-class manufacturing operational environment and ensures the safety of all employees.
- Lead the development of annual and longer-term business plans for the cluster, ensuring alignment with strategy; quantify business outcomes (i.e. revenues or other key performance indicators) and resource budgets (financial and headcount); and ensure integration of key activities or projects across the organization.
- Take overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering an organizational change management strategy that achieves desired outcomes. Closely collaborate with MT & Industrialization to optimize operations.
- Manage and report on business performance; hold direct reports accountable for achievement of business plans, and take corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
- Ensuring the efficient utilization of resources and driving cost reduction initiatives.
- Identify the operational capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of MSC. Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities.
- Acts as the Legal head of the Cluster. Represents company authorities as required by country and local laws.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, safety guidelines, and FMC standards, implementing corrective actions as needed, and conducting business in accordance with local and international laws and our Code of Ethics.

- Master degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- High language proficiency in French and English (spoken & written).
- Proven experience in an international multi-site leadership role within Medical Device/Pharma/Healthcare manufacturing.
- Proven track record in successfully restructuring, reorganizing, and implementing cost-cutting programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leader with extensive experience overseeing an international organization of 2.000+ employees, ideally possessing cross-functional expertise.
- Experienced in managing site/regional P&L, budgets and forecasting.
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device regulations, including GMP and ISO13485.
- Previous experience and knowledge of implementing continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean.
- Expertise in safety systems with the ability to enforce safety rules and policies effectively.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in product quality and regulatory compliance, incorporating lean principles, design robustness, and manufacturing for 6-sigma.
- Experienced in strategic management and leadership across company functions directing substantial resources over long-time frames (15+ years)
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills, including team building and advanced coaching abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations, maintenance, and engineering principles.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize production and maintenance needs.
- Strong interpersonal communication and listening skills.
