Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Growth:
- Drive Strategy: Take full ownership of developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns designed to boost user acquisition and brand visibility.
- Lead Research: Conduct thorough user and competitor research, presenting actionable insights to refine and enhance our marketing approach.
- Manage Channels: Oversee and optimise digital channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and paid media to meet our growth objectives.
Collaborative Projects & Accountability:
- Project Ownership: Lead and manage marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met with full accountability.
- Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, benefiting from guidance from our CEO, founders, and CMO. Proactively drive projects and leverage mentorship to enhance your skills.
- Coordinate Efforts: Engage in regular strategy sessions and team meetings to share progress, receive feedback, and contribute innovative ideas.
Content & Community Engagement:
- Content Leadership: Manage the content calendar, create compelling content, and oversee publication to align with our brand voice and marketing plans.
- Community Building: Champion our brand and engage with our community through creative marketing strategies and events, taking the initiative to enhance our presence.
- Creative Involvement: Participate in content creation, design, and other creative projects, ensuring high-quality and impactful deliverables.
Sales Alignment & Growth Hacking:
- Sales Integration: Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals, driving quality leads and supporting revenue growth.
- Growth Experiments: Develop and execute growth hacking experiments with product and sales teams. Measure results and iterate on strategies for continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Learning:
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse marketing performance using analytical tools. Provide insights and recommendations to optimise strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- KPI Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV), using data to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
About You:
- Experience: You have 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced startup or growth-focused environment.
- Ownership Mindset: You’re prepared to take full ownership of projects and responsibilities, thriving in a role where accountability and initiative are crucial.
- Growth-Oriented: Enthusiastic about learning and growing, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and driving success.
- Data-Driven: Comfortable working with data and analytics to measure performance and optimise strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools, with a keen interest in expanding your expertise.
- Creative Communicator: Strong communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content. (Bonus points if you’re fluent in another language!)
- Interest in Finance: A passion or interest in finance, investing, or fintech is a plus and will enhance your ability to connect with our audience.
