What is the position?
The Senior Program Manager will oversee interactions between a multidisciplinary engineering team and our government customers. They will be responsible for leading experimentation and planning and executing demonstrations across a variety of systems spanning manned and unmanned aerial, ground, and subsea platforms
What will I get to do?
The Senior Program Manager will work directly with our customers and will take the lead in planning and execution of experimentation and demonstration events. They will be responsible for collecting and documenting end-user feedback from system test and evaluation and will communicate findings with our engineering teams. They will lead technology development programs, managing cost, performance, and schedule.
Using strong writing and customer interface skills, the Senior Program Manager will manage relationships and help drive opportunity development with DoD, federal, and state customers. This will include white paper development and responses to RFIs.
They will spend approximately 25% time traveling to principally in-CONUS locations.
What qualifications do I need?
- US Citizen possessing an active Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS clearance.
- Prior military service as an end-user or operator of unmanned systems
- 10 or more years of experience managing technology development projects for DoD customers
- 10 or more years of experience in client relationship management
- 5 or more years of experience writing white papers and technical reports and/or responses to RFIs
- Working knowledge of DoD RDT&E and acquisition processes
- Ability to support 25% time travel to principally in-CONUS locations; occasional surges up to 50% travel
- Ability to work on-site in Fairmont, WV as needed.

Compensation
$127,536.85 - $204,058.96
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees.
