Reporting directly to the Production Manager, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing production operations. Your focus will be on driving safety, fostering a positive team culture, optimising process efficiency's, and ensuring production targets are met while upholding high-quality standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Title : Assistant Production Manager
Salary : $85,000 - $93,000 per annum + superannuation
Hours: 6:30am - 2:30pm
Location: On-site Parking - located 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Collaborating with team leaders to ensure staff consistently meet efficiency and quality benchmarks to fulfil customer expectations.
Overseeing all aspects of the production team, including recruitment, on-boarding, training, coaching, and providing ongoing performance feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.
Cultivating a positive, motivated, and engaged team culture.
Assisting the Production Manager with the daily operations and management of the branch.


Key Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 18 months demonstrated experience in people management.
A background in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of 5S, LEAN, or HACCP principles is an advantage.

Randstad are excited to be partnering with an industry leading and highly regarded FMCG manufacturing company who are seeking a skilled permanent Automation Engineer (PLC). Located North-East of the city, this is your opportunity to take a position in a proud South Australian company who are now Australia and New Zealand wide, exporting to 35 countries throughout the world.
Your role:
Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing all maintenance duties (both electrical and mechanical) for the organisation.
Your duties will include:

Maintaining machinery and associated company equipment enabling high levels of safety, efficiency, quality and company output
Working under limited supervision and supervise the work of lower level employees and apprentices
Performing advance trade skills in maintaining, constructing, altering or testing within any departments
Performing general PLC and SCADA programming for fault finding, fault rectification, new and existing machinery alterations
Maintaining programs for robotics and other automated equipment to ensure efficient operation of machinery, including re-spotting of pallet configurations
Maintaining, operating and testing all safety equipment
Performing project work including, programming, troubleshooting and commissioning as requires

General Competencies:
This client is particularly seeking a candidate who possesses competencies in the following areas:

Diagnosing and rectifying faults (PLC and SCADA)
Writing and converting code
Assisting electrical trades personnel with the install of electrical apparatus (switchboards, motors, protection devices, control devices etc)
Maintaining and repairing electrical systems (computers, PLCs etc)
Commissioning of electrical and machine apparatus
Assisting electrical trades personnel with the testing of electrical apparatus and circuits

Key requirements:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar
Completed modules in PLC Programming
Practical experience with Omron and Siemens PLCs
5 years experience as a PLC Programmer or similar
