The Opportunity
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on the modeling team of in MassMutual Ascend’s ALM and Capital group, you will help to maintain and enhance our asset-liability model in a strong model governance environment. You will collaborate with team members to enhance our modeled cash flow projections for asset adequacy testing, duration monitoring, and other business needs. In FIS Prophet, there is opportunity for you to help customize the coding to better match the unique characteristics of our diverse annuity products.
Job Responsibilities
- In a team setting, maintain and enhance our asset-liability projection model in FIS Prophet
- Help to increase speed, accuracy and efficiency in reporting model results
- Support research on how model changes impact results
- Aid in model governance and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or working toward ASA
- At least 2 years actuarial work experience in annuities
- Must have passed the SOA Fundamentals of Actuarial Mathematics exam
- Experience with actuarial modeling platforms, with preference toward FIS Prophet
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Results oriented: Ability to complete tasks on schedule
