About the role

Our Assessors provide end to end structured support to our apprenticeship learners on the programme. They will ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification.

Our apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry.

As a Business Account Executive at Itec, you will be responsible for establishing, building, and nurturing long-term business relationships that generate new apprenticeship starts with both new and existing clients. Your primary goal is to enable Itec to achieve monthly profiled apprenticeship start targets. Additionally, you will actively sell and endorse all Itec services across all contracts, driving business growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Your impact

Responsible for generating Apprenticeship starts with new and existing clients through various sales activities, including sales visits, appointments, presentations, networking, mail shot activities, telephone sales, cold calling and following up on leads.
Work with the Business Account Manager to formulate account plans for designated clients within designated client portfolio including targets for customer satisfaction, retention, and future sales growth.
Take full ownership of the client from lead generation, managing the creation of the solution, through to apprentice start and development into key account management to ensure our approach drives maximum opportunities from the client.
Responsible for achieving business profile requirements and sales targets in line with contractual requirements and key performance indicators.
Accountable for dealing with speculative calls, new enquiries, aftercare and client service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Responsible for working and supporting clients in planning their recruitment and training strategy, including planning and manage enrolment, launch events and Induction.
Responsible for liaising with on-boarding team to retain overall responsibility for ensuring all paperwork requirements for sign up of apprentices is completed, fully compliant and manages an effective start to generate income.

• Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments.
• Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways.
• Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
• Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
• Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.

What are we looking for?
Essential
• Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
• Welsh speaking is desirable.

Our assessor will provide end to end structured support to our apprenticeship learners on the programme. They will ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification.
Our apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry.
