Clinical Research Analyst
The Clinical Research Analyst is responsible for reviewing clinical topics, providing insights towards clinical projects and marketing / commercialization opportunities which should be undertaken across AM&D. The Clinical Analyst will assist the team in offering high quality clinical solutions aimed at assisting our customers improve clinical care delivery.
Your role:
- Develops, prepares and communicates a clinical topic under consideration
- Determines clinical internal and external customer requirements
- Conducts clinical research and presents data using state-of-art media including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation formats
- Provides analysis and tracking of competitive trends, clinical literature, and clinical data through ongoing reporting, ad-hoc analysis and partnership to share insights and ensure understanding within the clinical and marketing organization
- Assists in creation of offerings which can be studied to demonstrate clinical benefit
- Creates and publishes summaries and key takeaways from select journals, tradeshows, and societies that are of critical importance to the company
- Collaborates closely with marketing and product development on key articles/materials that should be leveraged to support sales conversations, update marketing messaging, or inform product development opportunities
- Coordinates with the CMO, Medical Directors, Marketing and Sales to identify topics of value requiring consideration
- Drives clinical data and clinical process analysis to ensure accuracy, optimization of execution and implementation of new analytic opportunities
- Identify and connect new customer needs, solutions and technologies to initiate new methods (or disruptive enabling technologies) of diagnosis, treatment and/or care within domain
- Initiate and drive co-creation and discovery in line with overall strategy and roadmap, including: • co-creation and early ideation • shaping funnel of ideas and research projects with clinical and research partners • clinical research collaboration • creating and evaluating clinical prototypes • contributing to shaping of overall innovation roadmaps via insights
- Create value and impact by delivering meaningful innovations, IP, and transfers to the business that contribute to Philips growth
- Provide thought leadership in alignment with overall strategy, including supporting marketing strategies with key insights/trends, supporting market shaping and conditioning through publications, identifying and developing next generation Key Opinion Leadership by working with new partners
- Drive the execution of evidence creation in coordination with Clinical Affairs, including strategizing, identifying, setting up and executing clinical collaborations and studies
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s or Masters Degree preferably in Life Sciences or Healthcare Related Fields
- Education, internship, or thesis in relevant competency area/domain
- Awareness of importance of IP generation and protection / in identifying and initiating new methods of diagnosis, treatment and/or care Strong communication skills.
- 5 years direct work experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare Related Fields
- Experience with clinical data analysis
- Understanding of the needs and operations related to a clinical study.
- Experience in leading the gathering and documentation of requirements.
- Familiarity with the following therapeutic areas: Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy, Electrophysiology, Holter Monitoring, Ambulatory ECG preferred

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $69.974.00 to $109,670.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
