The Role
As a Senior Housing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing services. You will lead a team of housing officers, ensuring that all properties are managed effectively, tenant issues are resolved promptly, and all regulatory requirements are met. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of housing officers, providing guidance, training, and support.
Oversee the management of housing properties, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
Develop and implement housing strategies that align with company goals and improve service delivery.
Handle escalated tenant issues and disputes, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to housing management.
Liaise with external partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective service delivery.
About You:
Proven experience in housing management, with a strong understanding of housing regulations and best practices or have worked in a management position in social care.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
Relevant qualifications in housing or social care are desirable.
