• To provide occupational health service to clients of North Yorkshire Council to give advice, guidance and support on work related health matters including suitability for employment, fitness to work and rehabilitation to the required professional standards in compliance with legislation and local NYC or relevant employer policies.

The Community Review Team provide a reviewing service for older people and adults with physical disabilities who are currently in receipt of care and support services. Practitioners’ in the team complete strength based assessments and work in partnership with our residents to maximise their independence and promote their wellbeing. We are an integrated service made up of both Social Workers and Occupational therapy. The Review Occupational Therapist is expected to work autonomously and in liaison with Social Work colleagues to utilise their functional, moving and handling skills and knowledge of equipment to positively influence the care and support needs of our residents.

Key duties:

1. To visit residents with physical, and/or mental health needs, at their home, or permanent residence and complete Occupational Therapy assessments of function, to help overcome environmental/social barriers and provide tailored support.

2. To complete manual handing assessments of need and ensure residents, and their formal and informal carers, are supported to provide personalised care through robust OT assessments.

3. To prescribe appropriate equipment to improve safety and maximise independence, choice and control.

Occupational Therapy (OT) Services at the London Borough of Bromley are seeking an enthusiastic and talented locum to join our FR OT team which is within the adult service.

The role will include the completion of Occupational Therapy assessments, the provision of equipment, minor adaptations, moving hand handling assessments and some major adaptations. Moving and handling experience is required and experience of providing major adaptations via a disabled facilities grant would be desirable.

SPECIFIC SERVICE ACCOUNTABILITIES

● To ensure the procurements they are responsible for are undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders, the Procurement Manual, relevant legislative requirements and the Council’s service priorities.
● To draft a project plan for each contract, having regard to the needs of the service (and in particular expiry dates of existing contracts and critical start dates for new contracts), the requirements of the procurement process with regard to Standing Orders and Public Procurement Legislation, and workload.

Role purpose:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, specification and project management of electrical services installations for new build, maintenance and/or refurbishment programmes of work. This may include taking the project lead or working as part of a larger design team.
Accountabilities:
1) Carry out the design and management of all types of electrical services projects including producing budget estimates, drawings, detailed service specifications, tender documentation and undertaking full contract administration duties on electrical led projects.
