At Regions, the Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaged, operationally sound, and high performing team dedicated to improving the financial wellness of our customers. This position acts as a player and coach, oversees branch operations, directly manages associate performance, and provides guidance as needed to ensure associates are helping customers reach their financial goals by understanding and meeting customer needs. Primary Responsibilities

• Leads a small to moderate sized team of branch associates responsible for impacting new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutions

• Conducts outside sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new business clients while also maintaining and expanding existing consumer and business banking relationships

• Educates associates, customers, and surrounding community about best practices to achieve and maintain financial wellness in addition to emerging bank technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier

• Coaches and develops branch associates through execution of iConnect - the Region's Sales, Service and Coaching process, with some guidance from assigned mentor, senior level managers and internal support partners

• Provides consistent and timely coaching and guidance to associates to assist with strengthening their product knowledge and identifying customer needs

• Educates and advises customers on Regions Consumer and Business products and services, including all loan and deposit types in addition to assisting with annuities and life insurance

• Ensures a consistent optimal customer experience, including handling customer’s transactional needs as needed.  This may include sharing responsibility for greeting customers and processing transactions to ensure customers bank when, where, and how they want

• Resolves escalated customer and associate issues and provides counseling to associates as needed with some guidance and direction from senior leadership and Human Resources

• Manages recruiting and selection process for assigned branch

• Maintains relationships with Line of Business partners and refers customers to an internal team of experts when additional complex financial goals and needs are recognized

• Follows all bank policies, processes, procedures, and internal audit requirements and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including completing individual duties specific to the role of Branch Manager, and ensures all associates in the branch complete their delegated operational risk management duties as assigned; as a member of the branch team, ensures sound banking practices, including managing, identifying, and reporting operational risks 

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

• Three (3) years of Financial Services, sales, or sales management experience

• Expected to obtain an active Life Insurance License within first twelve (12) months and maintain continuing education for licensing requirements

Job Description:

At Regions, the SBA (Small Business Administration) Closing Team Manager is responsible for managing closing functions from loan approval through booking and funding for SBA 7 (a), Express, and 504 government guaranteed loans. This position manages a team of SBA Closing Specialists. The SBA Closing Team Manager plays a critical role in our SBA loan process, ensuring loan fulfillment and closing processes are operationally sound and comply with SBA standard operating procedures with a focus towards client experience.   

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads a team of SBA Closing Specialists responsible for closing SBA loan transactions adhering to all credit, regulatory, procedural and SBA guaranty requirements
• Provides oversight and expertise for items related to credit, loan, and SBA documentation policies, closing due diligence, regulatory requirements (including BSA/AML, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, Flood Regulations) and systems used within the department
• Develops strategies and recommendations for improving efficiency, productivity, quality, and risk management within the SBA segment and collaborates with business partners to communicate ideas and recommendations to senior and executive management
• Acts as the SBA closing/processing subject matter expert by having extensive knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Recommends updates to Regions SBA processes and procedures in accordance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures, industry best practices and relevant modifications to SOP
• Exercises independent decisions regarding compliance with bank and SBA documentation requirements
• Facilitates all closing related communication with SBA via eTran, direct submissions, or directly with SBA Officials
• Serves as the primary escalation contact for business partners regarding questions, issues or concerns with team performance or transactional issues
• Manages daily workflow and ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures
• Oversees all communication efforts between SBA Closing Specialist and borrower, SBA Bankers, internal staff, and external partners to deliver an optimal client experience
• Provides coaching and support to staff, including facilitating regular team meetings and 1:1 sessions for associate development
• Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and terminations
• Manages team performance metrics but not limited to SLAs, production, quality assurance, document exceptions, etc.
• Develops and sustains relationships with both internal and external key partners including SBA and third-party vendors such as closing attorneys 

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with six (6) years of years of SBA closing experience and knowledge of SBA loan program requirements or equivalent work experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of years of SBA closing experience and knowledge of SBA loan program requirements or equivalent work experience
• Three (3) years of prior management, leadership, or coaching experience
• Experience reviewing insurance, title work, collateral, lien filings, appraisals, construction due diligence, and environmental reports
• Experience working with bankers, underwriters, closers, insurance firms, and attorneys
• Experience with commercial loan systems

Preferences

• Advanced knowledge of SBA's SOP requirements and regulations

• Specialized training in title, real estate, government programs (SBA), and specialized lending programs

• Experience with nCino and/or related Salesforce platforms

• Experience with SBA systems (ETran, SBA One, TSOFT)

• Experience with LaserPro

Job Description:

At EnerBank, the Senior Collections Representative is responsible for the daily collection process, which includes communications with customers at all levels of delinquency. This position handles complex issues and serves as a resource to associates with less experience.

EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contacts customers by phone or other methods to resolve delinquent status of accounts
• Answers complex customer questions
• Consults customers to available payment options
• Documents outcomes and actions taken
• Assists in the development of written procedures
• Serves as a resource to associates with less experience
• May provide guidance on complex or escalated issues

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of collections or related experience

Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work on a team
• Good Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Excellent customer service and collections skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of collections software

• This position is only available onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah. Post training period a hybrid schedule of in office and offsite work is possible.
• A full time schedule of 40 hours, Monday through Friday during business hours is expected.
• A monthly bonus incentive on top of base hourly pay is available to earn for all associates in this role.
• Additionally, offers made to qualified, external candidates will include a $2,000 sign on bonus! (internal associates and re-hires are not eligible for the sign on).

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
