Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join us. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management and possess strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Reporting to the Head of Credit and Finance, you are responsible for overseeing and managing Ricardo Group’s financial operations. You will drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lower costs and operational efficiencies, execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations, provide insights into business performance, develop new metrics for driving business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk, manage relationships with bankers, auditors and tax authorities, and ensure that the Group complies with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage a team that develops and manages strategic financial planning for the group, including forecasts and budgets; conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement; expenses, and provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic planning
- Financial Reporting: Focus on daily and month-end accounting to determine results, prepare and present full set of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a consolidated basis; ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies; coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely completion
- Treasury Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance. Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements, manage working capital, and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organisation to ensure finance processes are running efficiently. Managing various financial topics and providing ad-hoc support to the finance and new business teams
The candidate will be expected to lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring best practices in financial management.
Requirements
- LCCI Higher Accounting or Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA
- Proficient in financial software and possess strong Excel knowledge
- Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Good knowledge of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST rules
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous, and hands-on
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong team player
