The Learning Lead (Cognition and Learning) is responsible to the SENCO for delivering intervention programmes for students with Cognition and Learning difficulties, which may include those struggling with literacy and numeracy difficulties.

The qualifications and experience required of a Learning Lead are:

• Courses completed in Cognition and Learning and other areas of SEND;
• Experience with SEND in a Secondary setting.
• Experience of delivering intervention programmes (Supporting development of literacy and numeracy, for example) or a willingness to undertake training.
• Experience of using assessment tools (YARC, for example) or a willingness to undertake training • Experience of mentoring students with Cognition and Learning difficulties.
• Degree (Not essential) or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of a grade C / 4 in English and Maths GCSE.

We are looking for an International and MOD Liaison Officer
The International and MOD Students Liaison Officer will be responsible for the College-wide support provided for International and MOD Students and their families and will contribute to the promotion of the College abroad. They will provide administrative support for all international and MOD students boarding at Wymondham College Prep School and Wymondham College, which will include liaising with the families of international students about travel arrangements and providing a line of communication between the Boarding House, Tutors etc and the families.

This will also include responsibility for identifying, tracking and reviewing student progress, running intervention and demonstrating the impact of intervention programmes and providing advice and support to teaching colleagues.
The qualifications and experience required of an Academic Mentor for EAL are:
• A good level of literacy and numeracy;
• Courses completed, or a commitment to complete recognised training in EAL;
• Experience with EAL in an educational setting either Primary or Secondary;
• Experience of delivering intervention programmes.
• Experience of mentoring students with EAL.
• Degree (Not essential)

Wymondham College seeks to appoint a well-qualified and organised Access Arrangements and SEND Assessment Administrator to liaise with the SENDCO to assist with the assessment for and implementation of access arrangements for students with specific needs. The post holder will co-ordinate the administration of Exams Access Arrangements to compliment the College’s assessment and reporting procedures and ensure smooth running of external examinations, in close co-operation with the Exams Manager. The post holder will be responsible for communicating with feeder schools to facilitate transfer and distribution of information relating to student additional needs, ensuring successful transitions. The post-holder will assist the SENDCo in administration relating to the Graduated Approach, efficient timetabling of support staff and timely responses to EHCP consultations.

The qualifications and experience required of an Access Arrangements and SEND
Assessment Administrator are:
• Have up-to-date knowledge of JCQ Rules and Regulations regarding
examinations, access arrangements and special consideration;
• Have a sound track record of successful administrative experience, including
experience of data analysis;
• Be familiar with using IT, including the Microsoft Office package and MIS;
• Proven success in an educational setting, including experience of the
examinations system, would be an advantage;
• To have completed or be willing to complete the Award in Proficiency Access
Arrangements Coordination (APAAC) qualification;

Reporting to the Assistant HR Director, the postholder’s primary role will be to provide administrative support to the Trust Administration Manager along with supporting the day- to-day compliance and vetting for staff and non employed personnel.

The first six months of employment shall be a probationary period and employment may be terminated by the Trust during this period at any time on one week’s prior written notice. The Trust may, at its absolute discretion, extend this period for up to a further six months. During this probationary period, performance and suitability for continued employment will be monitored.
