We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Developer for Asia Pacific to drive our global group growth initiatives and support our Group Strategy, M&A, and Venturing activities. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in scouting new business opportunities, deal origination, M&A incl. post-merger integration, while also contributing to develop and foster our external network to key players and advisors for growth and business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & M&A:

• Support the Head of Strategy and M&A in Asia Pacific region with strategy development
• Collaborate with the Group Strategy team to implement strategic initiatives, including portfolio optimization, value creation and competitive positioning

Growth Strategy & Portfolio Management:

• Support the Chief Growth Officer and his team with deal origination and scouting activities by leveraging industry networks
• Work closely with Group Functions and local country organizations to leverage market and industry insights
• Support the Head of Umdasch Group Venturing in identifying industry trends, emerging technologies, and market disruptions

As Production Technician you oversee the Company’s supplier production activities in India and to ensure the quality, function and delivery of AT-PAC products, on time, in full accordance with purchase orders and conforming to product specifications.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee production processes, systems, core competencies and culture required to achieve position objectives.
• Work with suppliers on proper tool development, efficient factory layout, raw materials control, welding, in-process quality control inspection (IPQC) and pre-shipment inspection (PSI)
• Implementation of Production Control Plans, Gantt Chart at each factory and the ongoing supervision of production control processes. This includes ensuring required levels of raw materials control, equipment, efficiency, quality and safety are in place.
• Coordination of:
  • New supplier development (NSD) in India, including initial audit and assessment through to mass production.
  • New product development (NPD) - drives product development of new scaffold products through sample production, first article inspection (FAI), first article approval (FAA) stages to mass
  • Product conformity audits and industry certifications.
  • Coordinating with supplier finding out of Design errors & process feasibility checking.
  • Closing NCR raised by QC. Keep track record & Meeting OTD (on time delivery) as per purchase order.  
  • Annual supplier audits to track progress and improvements, ensuring that suppliers continually improve their internal processes, procedures, equipment, team, and work environment.

• Provide training and general support to suppliers and the production team.
  • Monitor and report on AT-PAC India business unit expenditure and time keeping, in line Production Controlling guidelines and as directed.
• Development of strategic initiatives like Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), HSE and Quality
  • Implements operational policies, procedures, systems, standards and processes required to comply with legal or corporate requirements, including maintaining safe systems of work
  • Assist with ESG implementation and compliance, including supporting Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Company Carbon Footprint (CCF) data collection.

Commercial Coordination:

• Place orders and quotes, ensuring timely updates and communication with the Supply Chain.
• Verify LC terms and coordinate with Sales for Proforma Invoices; update delivery dates in DISCOS II.
• Ensure material availability and timely reservation of materials for customer orders.
• Manage returns with Engineering, Warehouse, Sales, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor material movements and resolve disputes during the project period.
• Create Picklists for dispatch, arrange transport, and monitor revenue and material availability.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, support period closings, and maintain proper documentation in DISCOS II.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, and Yard Operations to resolve issues and reduce transport costs.
• Manage logistics requirements within the country and submit bills and provisions on time.

Export-Import Coordination:

• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders and CHAs, and prepare and verify export and import documents.
• Ensure timely duty payments and customs refunds; track all shipments.
• Prepare Proforma Order Confirmations and Tax Invoices; coordinate dispatches and quarantine imported items.
• Allocate Import Sea Freight, post DOKA GMBH invoices, and verify and process Clearance Bills.
• Manage customer creation and order import materials after checking stock.
• Communicate stock availability to the Sales team and resolve inventory issues.
• Handle DISOCS orders, prepare monthly closing reports, and provide weekly/monthly MIS to management.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain book of accounts and support month-end closing including inter-company and bank reconciliation
• Prepare various schedules and support on cash flow forecast
• Prepare and file the BIR tax returns but not limited to withholding tax and VAT

Assistant Yard Coordinator (Doka Specific) - Overseeing the day-to-day running of the yard by ensuring that all planned and adhoc activities are executed on time as well as managing, supporting and training the yard workers. Look at opportunities to save cost and maintaining a high level of customer service within the yard.

Commercial Logistics Coordinator (CMO) - Responsible for the commercial and logistical execution of all client deliveries, invoicing and returns. In addition, the role will include the responsibility for improvement of logistical performance, stock optimization and stock accuracy. The role combines the daily tasks for Lubeca Melbourne and Doka Melbourne.

• Create orders / quotes to Discos in line with official work instruction and ensure timely update in alignment with Sales

• You verify drawing/technical specification both from customer’s side and Doka Preliminary and Execution drawings and coordinate with respective design engineers for discrepancy.
• Monitor and review the correctness of all Bill of Materials prior to start of pick-ups/deliveries to avoid complain of delays and discrepancy.
• You provide training, workshop, and on-site supervision (professional briefing and training) to contractors during the initial assembling of system formwork

Site Project Management
