In this role, you will report to the Global Facilities Manager and will work closely with Avantor's Clinical Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission based labwork and research protocols that help return back time to science.
What we’re looking for :
Education: High school graduate (or equivalent)
Qualifications:
Capable of producing quality work.
Minimum 2-5 years of facilities maintenance experience
Ability to perform various tasks within the facilities as needed by business (Ex. HVAC, plumbing, groundskeeping, basic electrical, moving furniture, signage, etc).

Our portfolio of custom kitting, equipment and ancillary solutions, and biorepository and archiving services stands at the ready - to serve any trial, of any size, anywhere in the world. In this role you will:
Perform daily inspections of all Archives facilities, and equipment.
Apply best GXP work-practices and techniques to remain in compliance with Facility SOPs and FDA regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with outside vendors for inspections and service.
Keep the Facility Manager informed on the day-to-day state of the Archives, including irregularities and deviations from the normal.
Report key quality and business metrics and use such metrics to drive a culture of continuous process improvement within the area of responsibility.
Awareness of technical problems that may affect quality or safety and bringing them to the attention of Facility Manager.
Maintain manufacturer’s maintenance specifications and industry standards.
Perform general building maintenance and internal ad hoc maintenance requests to your best ability.
Maintain inventory and accountability of all company tools and spare parts and equipment.
Ability to solve certain technical problems with the help of the Snr-Specialist and/or Archives personnel.
Performance of other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager and Facility Operations Management.
This job requires on call availability 24/7.
Always ensure that, equipment, facilities and materials used in the area of responsibility comply with defined standards.
Review daily equipment inspection and maintenance documents and inform Facilities management of any deficiencies and recommendations.
