The Role:

Our Client
Hays are partnering with a well established and national fit-out and interiors contractor to find two site managers who can oversee their high spec fit out project on a flagship Liverpool commercial project. The project will begin early January and will run for a duration of 20 weeks.
As site manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the supervision of subcontractors on site
• Working under the Project Manager on site
• Maintain all RAMS and H&S on site
• Oversee the drylining and finishing package
• Liaise with the main contractor on site

What you need:

• Previous drylining, ceilings, & partition experience is essential
• SMSTS & CSCS & First Aid
• Prior UK-based contractor experience is essential

We are offering:

• £250 - £330 per day DoE
• Work in the Liverpool area

We are a customer orientated service that is responsive and effective in the delivery of the digital requirements of our Partner Organizations (POs) and Customers in line with local and national IM&T priorities. The Development service provision is required to keep pace with ongoing development of technologies, providing solutions that are interactive for the end user and support changes in models of care delivery within the NHS and the need for agile working. The requirements now are increasingly for advanced custom development capabilities, using an array of platforms, languages, and technologies. The Development Service Delivery Manager will work with a range of stake holders (both internal and external) to ensure that developments are delivered to support our partners and customers objectives. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of solutions across all partners and customers, ensuring that all development work is completed within agreed timescales to the appropriate specification, managing quality assurance and deployment. Principal Responsibilities: Manage the development lifecycle, from capturing and documenting Partner and Customer requirements (including generating proposals and organising software demonstrations), prioritising work alongside competing demands, through to the delivery and transition to business as usual support. Receive and assess complex enquiries and requests for service from IM Partner Organisations, Customers and potentially other Trusts and transition those requests into the development lifecycle as appropriate. Interpret and communicate complex and highly technical issues to non-IM&T or technical staff, both internally within IM and externally within POs and Customers. Also to be involved in SLA meetings as appropriate and negotiations with third parties. Support the creation of designs and mock-ups for new solutions. Manage small teams on quick turnaround projects to create highly interactive applications and products, which includes customer projects, core technologies and internal product development. Collaborate with the development team to identify user acceptance criteria to gain Trust sign-off of work items, and manage the quality assurance (QA) and testing of solutions to ensure that they meet the agreed criteria. Take responsibility for the testing of solutions, ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility and compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the user's region or domain Manage the deployment of solutions into a production environment, supporting the definition/ implementation of, and adherence to, appropriate change control processes. Identify and document benefits delivered through development work, carrying out research where necessary to quantify achievement. Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies and author business cases and make recommendations to POs and Customers to support Innovation and the implementation of the latest technologies. Implement project management methodology to control and manage risks; issues; quality; delivery of developments on time and within budget. Providing regular highlight reports and working effectively across multiple teams. Feed into the process of internal IP development. 1.1 To manage an integrated pre-analytic Pathology reception service provided by Pathology Reception staff ensuring an efficient, first rate service is delivered. 1.2 To participate in the reception, processing, referral, and storage of a variety of specimens, which may contain high risk organisms. 1.3 To enter and manage data using the Meditech computer system. 1.4 Line management responsibility for all MLA staff within the Pathology department while in the sample reception area, including identification of staff training and development needs. 1.5 To manage the accurate record-keeping of managed staff including timekeeping and the management of sickness absence. 1.6 To cover the absence of managed staff when required. 1.7 To manage any matters of a difficult nature encountered by reception staff in the course of their duties. 1.8 Ensure new members of staff receive appropriate induction. 1.9 Maintain adequate supplies of stationery/goods/consumables. 1.10 Report all faults/repairs/maintenance required for the Pathology department, ensuring jobs are completed to a satisfactory outcome. 1.11 Manage regular meetings with managed staff, addressing any issues arising. 1.12 To deal professionally with telephone enquiries with tact, diplomacy and empathy whilst maintaining strict patient confidentiality. 1.13 To participate in maintaining a system for the safe and confidential storage and retrieval of records and specimens, both physically and electronically. 1.14 To perform housekeeping duties including general tidying, waste disposal, washing glassware and filing. 1.15 Collection and receiving of stock 1.16 To ensure proper and efficient use of equipment and consumables without wastage. 1.17 To ensure the moving and handling of heavy objects are undertaken according to Trust manual handling guidelines. 1.18 To undertake water flushing requirements 1.19 To assist in the handling and processing of sendaway samples and the receipt and onward distribution of associated results 1.20 Any other duties which may be required to ensure the smooth running of the Pathology department. 1.21 To adhere to all health and safety policies within the Trust. 1.22 To be aware of, and comply with, the Alder Hey Trust policies and procedures. 1.23 To be aware and vigilant, in respect of security matters, and to report any breach of security to the appropriate manager. 2 Management 2.1 To contribute to the writing and review of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 2.2 To monitor levels of reagents and consumable items and inform senior staff when stocks are running low. 2.3 To comply with Trust and Departmental Health and Safety policies, including reporting of all accidents, hazards and defects as soon as possible. 2.4 To use any equipment and facilities provided within the department in a proper and safe manner. 3 Skills 3.1 To undertake a wide variety of non-automated operations requiring skill, knowledge and manual dexterity. 3.2 To ensure hazardous chemicals and reagents are handled appropriately according to COSHH regulations. 3.3 To have basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office. 4 Research 4.1 To compile and check data for audit. 5. Key responsibilities 1. Provide programme and project management expertise and advice within the Laboratory service. 2. Have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a number of programmes and projects, for the full lifecycle from initiation to closure, taking a lead roll on a number of programmes and projects. 3. Ensure that all programme and projects are managed in accordance with relevant project management standards. 4. Ensure that all programmes and projects are supported by a robust governance structure. 5. Monitor the progress of the programmes and project against their original business case and project initiation document, ensuring where necessary the programme/projects are able to adapt to changing requirements and that plans are adjusted accordingly so that the deliverables are on time, to specified quality and within budget. 6. Analyse and evaluate the many diverse and conflicting issues associated with the completion of programmes and decide how resources are to be used. Be responsible for developing and tracking the progress of programme/project plans, including resource planning. 7. Identify and manage risks and issues associated with the programme, including the development and implementation of contingency plans. Where necessary, progress the escalation of project risks and issues which have been identified. 8. Working closely with the business change function to ensure that appropriate business re-engineering activities take place, in order to support the successful delivery of the key outputs of the programmes and projects. 9.
