MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The provision of direct practical assistance and support to the FRA, to enable them to carry out their SYFRA duties.

2. Arrange and maintain ongoing FRA meeting schedules in liaison with FRA Members, senior SYFR leaders and other relevant stakeholders.

3. Make and co-ordinate all the necessary arrangements for FRA meetings including: preparation of correspondence, agendas, minutes and other supporting documents.

4. To maintain and prioritise the working diaries of the FRA including: booking appointments and forward diary planning in liaison with internal and external parties.

5. Receive and screen incoming communications from all sources for the FRA, prioritising and redirecting as necessary.

6. Deal with all outgoing communications to include verbal and written forms, with professionalism and discretion.

7. Liaise with external bodies including: other emergency services, representative bodies, political figures, public, media, etc.

8. Carry out research on behalf of the FRA and prepare the appropriate form of presentation.

9. Provide hospitality to visitors to the FRA meetings.

10. Maintain records and filing systems both electronic and manual. This may include using ModernGov, Office 365 or other appropriate software for the publication of FRA documents.

11. Provide cover for other Governance Officers as required.

12. Provide administrative support to the Head of Governance & Legal Services/Monitoring Officer in the recruitment, training and coordination of FRA and independent board members.

13. Support the Head of Governance & Legal Services/Monitoring officer in the collation and drafting of annual reports and self-assessment of governance arrangements.

Essential skills and requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• We require you to have a full UK Driving Licence with a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC Card)
• In date Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your Driving Licence

Newly qualified drivers are welcome as well as those with experience and all drivers are expected to undertake a short driving assessment which includes a brief written test so basic English is required to complete this.

Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist (Inpatients) – Osprey Ward at Swallownest Court.



This is a full-time (10 PA) Consultant Psychiatrist post, with on call duties.



The successful applicant will be providing input to Osprey Ward. The post will be based at Swallownest Court. Swallownest Court is in Rotherham with easy access to the M1 motorway and 30 minutes commute from Sheffield.



This post has a 30% Recruitment Premium added to the base salary for 3 years. Assistance with relocation is available in certain circumstances

General duties of the post holder:

1. To work with the Care Group Director, Care Group Medical Director, Service Manager and Modern Matron (in-patient services) in the forward planning and further development of services within the Trust.

2. To take part in the Consultant on-call rota within Rotherham mental health in-patient services, covering adult, older adult and learning disability services. On call work is assessed to be Category A and low frequency and is currently 1 in 20, which attracts a payment of 3% of the basic salary

3. To support and participate in Clinical Governance and Audit projects within the service

4. To participate in continuing professional development according to Royal College of Psychiatrists guidelines and to maintain good standing with the College regarding CPD.

5. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to evidence based practice and to the application of NICE guidelines and Trust guidelines relevant to patients

6. To contribute to under-graduate teaching.

7. To comply with Trust policies, procedures and to contribute to the formulation of Trust clinical policies as appropriate

8. To undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients.

Older People’s Mental Health Consultant Psychiatrist in the Rotherham Community Mental Health Team. The successful applicant will be one of two full time consultants providing day to day medical support to the Older People’s Community Teams in Rotherham (two consultants in total). There are two teams, North and South. This vacancy is for the South Team. The base for this team is at Swallownest Court in Rotherham. • The post holder is expected to work in both organic and functional aspects of mental health services for older adults.

• To provide medical assessment, diagnosis, and formulation to appropriate patients. On completion of assessment, advise on diagnosis and treatment within the teams and to external service providers.

• To provide medical care to patients with severe mental health problems requiring enhanced care coordination.

• To liaise, advise and consult with hospital doctors and primary care clinicians on diagnosis, treatment and management of patients.

• To conduct assessments and make recommendations under the Mental Health Act.
