Role and Responsibilities in a TCM Clinic
The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the TCM clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care, smooth workflow, and alignment with the clinic’s business goals.
This role involves managing staff, coordinating with physicians, and implementing strategies to optimize revenue and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate with therapists, physicians, and counter staff to ensure patient flow is well-managed.
• Monitor inventory levels of herbs, supplements, and medical supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
2. Sales and Revenue Management
• Drive revenue growth by setting and monitoring sales targets for packages and services.
• Collaborate with sales consultants to develop effective promotional strategies.
• Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure proper tracking of patient appointments, payments, and package renewals.
3. Staff Management and Development
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and achieve clinic goals.
• Schedule and assign tasks to employees, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Resolve conflicts and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
4. Patient Experience
• Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all patients.
• Handle escalated patient complaints and work to resolve them promptly and professionally.
• Monitor patient satisfaction through feedback forms and surveys, and implement improvements as needed.
• Educate staff on maintaining high standards of customer service and patient care.
5. Marketing and Outreach
• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the clinic’s services, packages, and events.
• Organize health talks, workshops, and community outreach programs to attract new patients.
• Build partnerships with local businesses, insurance providers, and community organizations to expand the clinic’s network.
6. Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure the clinic adheres to all health and safety regulations, as well as TCM industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of clinic operations, including staff schedules, sales data, and patient information.
• Prepare monthly reports on clinic performance for management review.
• Stay updated on relevant policies and trends in the TCM and healthcare industries.
