Service Care Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity that has come up in the Nottingham Area
Nottingham County Council are on the hunt for a new Family Support worker who has got previous experience with working within a Family Support working role or working within a family unit and has a good understanding on on the skills needed for this role.
As a family support worker your role is full time working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and requires you to be a driver as you may be working throughout the area sitting in Supervised Contact, looking into Safeguarding concerns and working closely with a range of Social Workers to tackle each case on a individual basis.
They are currently offering a 3 months post to start with the opportunity of extension depending on your progression within your first 3 months.
As a Family Support Worker you will be working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with the possibility of hybrid working while paying £14.56ph and 45p per mile.
You will need:
Enhanced DBS
Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
Previous experience working within a family unit
A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people.
Previous experience working with children
A good understanding of child and adolescent development and an ability to remain sufficient to apply this knowledge to practice.
