We're looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to work for our client, an innovative global industry leader in the food tech space and the largest provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food in Europe.

This is a full-time permanent role as part of the Technical Team based out of the company's Hemel Hempstead Head Office. Salary £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience plus excellent benefits including life assurance of 2x yearly salary, access to professional qualifications, development opportunities available and clearly mapped career paths.

You would play a key role leading a high performing, client focused team of Field Service Engineers across London, overseeing the provision of a high-quality service to all customer and actively contributing to the overall improvements to the business.

The Role
As Area Service Manager you would be tasked with ensuring a range of traditional coffee, hot/ cold beverages and vending machines are working and maintained effectively by your team of Engineers. You will be supporting some of the world's leading and best-known coffee and food brands therefore presenting a positive image of the company and its products is essential.

Key tasks will include…
- Checking on the quality, progress, and outcome of the work carried out by your team
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of your team including appropriate equipment provided, risks mitigated and BCarm training modules completed
- Managing engineers' holiday entitlement / holiday allocation; ensure that adequate holiday/absence cover is in place
- Arranging 1 to 1 meetings with engineers to discuss any issues arising and review/appraise performance
- Reviewing multiple fault equipment and ensure any machine that displays persistent breakdowns is given the highest priority regarding repair
- Monitor potential cases of customer dissatisfaction and take appropriate action

The Candidate
- Electrical knowledge, demonstrated through practical work experience or an electrical qualification
- Technical background with strong fault finding and diagnosis skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage tight timescales effectively
- Strong leadership skills, a strong team player but confident working independently
- Self-motivated and the ability to act upon own initiative and work well under pressure
- Able to prioritise work and pre-empts upcoming challenges and put the plans in place to prevent/overcome the challenges before they arise
- Strong communicator with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
