Job Title: Teacher of English

Start Date: January 2025
Salary: M1-M6 (£31,650 - £43,606) - depending on experience
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our vibrant and successful English department in Southend-on-Sea. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to students across various key stages.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the English curriculum.
- Engage with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community to support students' learning and well-being.
- Participate in the school's extra-curricular programs and contribute to the broader school life.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in teaching English at secondary level is preferred, though all qualified candidates will be considered.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for English language and literature.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive and innovative approach to teaching.
