Wastewater Production Operator
£13.94 per hour Monday to Friday 8 - 4 pm Bran Sands - Middlesbrough Up to 3 months temporary
About the role
My client is currently looking for a Production Operator to work at Bran Sands Sewerage Treatment Works. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and controlling a large Wastewater Treatment Works, as well as the Advanced Anaerobic Digestion facility on site.
You would be required to conduct tasks in all conditions to ensure these assets operate safely and correctly, undertaking fault finding investigations when issues are found.
Please note This role has been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you'll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
About you
You'll have excellent communication skills, a pragmatic outlook and be focused on protecting the safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times.
The role will involve both lone working and working as part of a team with minimal supervision in a wastewater environment therefore, you will have proven experience of using your initiative, prioritising your workload and will be flexible in your approach to ensure this essential service is delivered on behalf of our customers to protect and enhance the environment.
You'll have excellent IT skills and be able to analyse and interpret various pieces of information to identify process issues and optimise the asset's performance.
We're looking for you to be driven and enthusiastic and able to demonstrate you're a great team player.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
