The Hospitality Services Manager will use their specialist knowledge to ensure the delivery of all the hospitality services to the highest standard. Key tasks

• Maintaining outstanding hospitality within the home by providing strong leadership, motivation and inspiration to their team members which will ensure people are cared for in a safe, hygienic environment.
• To uphold the environmental standards within the home coordinating between the housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and the care team.
• Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the home and its residents.
• To build relationships with people in the home, championing their experience, taking on board their feedback and managing their expectations.
• Provide effective leadership to all hospitality and ancillary staff members.
• Ensure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered.
• Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the Registered Manager and Senior Operations team
• Ensuring that restaurants are presented to the highest standard and the service provided is to a five-star standard whilst working closely with the chef and kitchen team to achieve this.

What are we looking for?

1. Experience as Hospitality Services Manager within the hospitality sector (not necessarily Healthcare)
2. Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
3. Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property. (does not have to be healthcare)
4. Excellent leadership skills
5. Exceptional communication skills

About the Role

The Home Manager is responsible for the care and commercial management and profitability of the Home in accordance with Maria Mallaband Care Group policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.

This includes the efficient and effective day to day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, management of all staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. Critical Care Services lead by Clinical Lead, Simon Webster. The Critical Care service comprises of 18 other Consultants: Our Critical Care services are delivered across two unit, one on the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital site and one on the Cheltenham General site. The two units admit approximately 1,500 patients a year. We support elective surgical services including Upper GI resection work, head and neck cancer services, three counties Gynae-Oncology services, a busy vascular unit. We have a busy medical admissions workload supporting all specialities including interventional cardiology, haematology, oncology, respiratory and renal medicine. We have the greatest number of paediatric admissions outside of PICU in the South West with between 40 and 50 admissions per year. We pride ourselves on our MDT approach to patient care and the flat hierarchy within our units. We have the support of an excellent outreach team across both our sites and we work closely together to ensure the best patient care. Gloucestershire Critical Care department is a dynamic, hard-working unit that delivers excellent outcomes for our patients and is a fantastic place to work, learn and contribute. ARCU/EMCU is a 26 bedded unit , looking for HCA whomust demonstrate a high level of communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment and want to continue to develop within the specialist area of respiratory care unit.

- Gain experience in caring for complex patients with a variety of Respiratory conditions

- Have excellent opportunities to develop skills in physical and cognitive rehabilitation, within an efficient and clinically effective Respiratory care

Main Purpose
Under the direction of the SENDCo/Class teacher, to support students who have been identified for additional support as indicated in the student’s statement and/or Individual Education Plan, in order to facilitate their access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
