• Responsible for creating and driving the Ciena skills strategy, that is both aligned to Ciena’s strategic workforce plan and functional learning needs. Accountable for leading skills transformation projects such as WD Talent Market place.  Lead project team and change management efforts
• Establish relationships with senior business stakeholders to understand their priorities, identify skills and capabilities needed to strengthen the organization, and prepare us for the future.   Translate insights into a structured approach to developing functional learning strategies that span a timeframe of 1-3 years. Partner with the wider P&C organiation to ensuring learning priorities are aligned to functional people strategies.
• Bring innovation to the development of functional learning curriculum.  Build creative and highly engaging learning strategies that address leadership, management and employee development
• Lead the team of Learning Partners to create functional curriculum that aligns to a 70/20/10 learning models, is innovative and delivers a great employee experience.
• Responsible for the ongoing technical training requirements of Ciena’s Products and Services organizations, including needs identification, development of learning material. Partner with functional L&D leaders and enablement teams where they exist to create and deliver learning strategies.  
• Source technical, product-related, and professional solutions for multiple levels in the organisation
• Collect frequent feedback, and check for alignment ensuring that the learning team is constantly responding to and delivering high value learning content.  
• Propose, agree and implement enterprise wide learning measures for success that demonstrate tangible impact of learning.

About the Digital Experience & Customer Empowerment Data Science Team (DXC-DS)
The DXC-DS Team is responsible delivering Machine Learning Features that transform the customer experience for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions at Autodesk.
We aim to help our customers, through conversation, personalization, and other intelligent features on our platform. Our team members work extensively with stakeholders across the company, with significant technology leadership and opportunity for impact. We work in a supportive and collaborative way, applying the latest technology and rigorous analysis to solve complex customer problems using ML.
Our 2024 focus is on the Autodesk Assistant, an LLM-driven, Universal Chatbot intended to provide generative answers to a wide range of our customers’ inquiries. This system is in production and already driving rich customer conversations and better outcomes. Other examples of our work include models for routing customer queries to agents, designing effective scripts for our support chatbot, and measuring the impact of automation on customer forums.
 

Position Overview
The ML Ops Engineering team combines software engineering with ML system deployment and operations. As an ML Ops Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for automating and simplifying machine learning workflows and deployments. ML Ops Engineers work to implement and deliver ML capabilities to solve complex real-world problems and deliver value to our customers. These processes include model development, testing, integration, release, and infrastructure management.

As a Indigeneous Relations Specialist, this role would be leading the overall management and fulfillment of the Indigenous Participation Plan and Indigenous Employment Equity obligations.  In doing so, the candidate would be developing and maintaining strong, positive, and respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, associations, and businesses through community engagement and relationship management initiatives as well as with external stakeholders, regulators, landowners, new and prospective clients, government and non-government agencies.  This position will work collaboratively with operational and functional services leadership across CAE Canada to deliver on Indigenous relations goals including, Indigenous staff recruitment and retention, engagement with Indigenous communities and organizations, identifying business opportunities, and strengthening internal awareness of Indigenous cultures, histories, and issues.  Are you ready to:

Our ideal candidate has:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience leading two-way engagement and information sharing with Indigenous nations, and organizations, including negotiating and implementing relationship agreements, and producing written reports on engagement activities and outcomes. Experience as relationship builder and trusted liaison, demonstrated through integrity and authenticity, collaboration, inclusivity, and creative approaches to solving problems.

• Knowledge of Indigenous culture to influence reconciliation journey into business projects and operations.

• Experience interfacing and successfully navigating difficult conversations with representatives of Indigenous nations and organizations, and with project teams and contractors.

•  Experience communicating one-on-one and in group forums with Indigenous nations and organizations at the member/citizen, staff and leadership level.

• Preference may be given to applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit).

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant area of study (e.g. Human Resources, Indigenous studies and/or communications and/or environmental sciences or related field).

About the Role

The Contact Centre Training and Productivity Lead will monitor the work of the Global BoomBox teams and individual GCO’s.  The aim is to ensure we are focused on the consistent delivery of Sales and Service, that “Changes People Lives Through Travel”.  

As a conduit between GCO performance and the Boombox management team,  you will  monitor, measure, analyze and report on team and GCO performance globally.  The key motivator of success will be to drive productivity improvements across our sales teams,  measured through the number of lives changed, SLA performance,  increased revenue per GCO;  conversions, attachment rates and MBE/NPS scoring.    

Responsibilities 

• Track sales and service performance at team and individual levels

• Identify performance challenges for the Management team 

• Recommend and identify gaps in training that would enable staff to improve sales performance and exceed sales targets and service KPI’s 

• Monitor, gather and  analyze data to determine how effective our current sales strategies are and identify all areas for improvement, both  team and individual 

• Coordinate and work with the learning and BoomBox management teams identifying training needs, content, planning and scheduling of the training programs.  

• The position will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation and effectiveness of the training programs and ensuring the training meets the BoomBox  needs

• Identify best in class techniques externally and share internally with scope of continually improving our sales and service levels

• Generate new ideas and initiatives that enhance any existing and future incentive programmes that support sales and productivity improvements

Role Specifications 

• Partner with BoomBox Management and key stakeholders on the design, development and implementation of performance monitoring, training programs and processes

• Analysis of all Inside Sales global requests for communication and conversion rates across all customer and team channels and touchpoints

• Analyze and report on all call/communication content - Call Monitoring, Chat and Email transcripts

• Measure and report on GCO performance globally

• Provide daily analysis to management to ensure productivity is maintained and service levels are met, as well as creating efficiency where applicable.

• Provide management updates of forecasts against targets and recommendations for following weeks with respect to team achievement and scheduling. 

• Work with global inside sales managers to provide key metrics to assist managing sales and employee performance.

• Collaborate with Sales Management and G Data Guru’s   to develop reports/dashboards

• Act as the primary point of contact for BoomBox Management in identifying training gaps and resources needed for GCO  development..

• Lead the delivery efforts toward the accomplishment of KPI’s that contribute to BoomBox and GCO success and progression. 

• Manage the Sales Training completion of programs: including oversight of product training for GCO’s , compulsory training,, sales onboarding programs (Garageband), and Leading with Service (Rockstar Training) 

• Develop thorough knowledge of all aspects of the BoomBox business processes and transactional tasks to provide insight to management on needed coaching, training and tools. 

• Through the  BoomBox Management team, drive improvements in key GCO Sales SLA’s such as call handling, abandonment rates, NPS and attachment rates .

• Work cross functionally to develop plans and reports to execute and measure team and GCO success of  key campaigns and promotional periods (Cyber, Great Adventure Sale) in conjunction with the BoomBox management team.. 

• This position will have daily contact with the Director of Inside Sales Operations

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Hold an unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL and must be able to obtain FAA ATP (requires Category 1 medical for initial issuance)

• Must have minimum of 1500 hours of multi crew experience

• A passion for teaching others through strong communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs 

• Experience flying business aircraft is a plus

• Bilingual preferred (English/French)

• Must be authorized to live/work in Canada

The role we are offering you:

By joining our operations research team, you will have the opportunity as a Technical Specialist to implement optimization engines within the context of flight operations. In addition to, explain the output of complex engines in a way understandable by an airline business user. Are you ready to:

• Interpret business requirements and converting them into parameters understandable by a mathematical engine.

• Walk through airline processes and how an optimization engine will fit into an overall picture.

• Set up reports to explain cause and effect to customers, in the context of the parameter changes requested.

• Write Python scripts to help collate data and draw insights on optimization.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor's (with Honours) or higher in Operations Research, Computer Science, or other related field.

• Understanding of airline processes.

• Previous experience with optimization engines in an airline context.

• Knowledge and ability in Python is not necessary, but is beneficial.
