The Post Holder will have a minimum three years experience post qualification in the commissioning, maintenance, calibration and repair of a wide range of medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices.

The starting salary would be £28,000 per annum with the potential to rise upon completion of a probationary period, overtime is available and is paid at premium rate.

Accountabilities:

- Maintain all service contract records and schedules.

About the role. 
To have control of engineering parts and components, ensuring engineering inventory is accurately logged, monitor usage, and find new methods / procedures. Working with other teams, you will contribute to technical performance reviews and continuous improvement activities. Ensure diagnostic instructions and inventory images are readily available to all engineering staff.

Accountabilities:


- Deliver the inventory CMMS process and support the procurement team with necessary information.
- Deliver the engineering inventory strategy.
- Construct reports of food inventory management activities, internal performance reports, asset management plans, reports to specific regulators and certifying bodies.
- Create, maintain and audit engineering documentation for engineering components.
- Organise the logistics and support the procurement of component parts for food processing and packaging assets.
- Support the selection of external suppliers, contribute to performance measurement of suppliers within the context of the organisation’s asset management approach.
- Manage/respond to breakdowns of food processing and packaging assets. Conduct inventory interrogation to support reactive requests and develop corrective actions to resolve deviation.

- Manage and maintain the CMMS system to ensure engineering work orders are planned, allocated and resourced effectively.
- Ensure follow up work orders are planned & resourced.
- Maintain a ‘live’ maintenance system by ensuring the PPMs are reviewed, adapted and continually improved.
- Provide support and back-up to the Maintenance Manager as required
- Manage contractors where required.
- Ensuring that all H&S procedures, engineering best practices are adhered to at all times.
- Manage the compliance register and actions relating to engineering through the planned maintenance system.
- Liaise with the planning function to ensure maintenance time is allocated to meet the plan.
- Generate reports as required to support the engineering and Senior Management teams.
- Support the development of the CMMS system by liaising with other sites and the CMMS system provider.

Do you have test engineer experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Crewe? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company find a full-time Electrical Test Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £31.00 per hour. This contract is for 12 months and is outside IR35. This role will require being on site in Crewe 3 days per week.

As an Electrical Test Engineer you will be responsible for developing electrical test sequences within PRODIS Automation environment based on the Java scripting platform. You will also manage and update the electrical test system (UPS) for the inclusion of the listed features and release the tool to production.

In your first few weeks in this Electrical Test Engineer role, you can expect to:

Isla Rose is currently searching for experienced Electrical Site Engineers for an established business based in Cheshire.

As an Electrical Site Engineer you will be required to travel around Cheshire to install, commission and service water pump equipment. This role will involve the odd night away from home so applicants must be flexible. Overtime hours will be available and a typical working week is 45 hours or more.

Applicants must hold a City and Guilds level 3 in Electrical installation and/or testing and hold a valid UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points. Other desirable qualifications include CSCS, CSTS, 17th/18th Edition and any other engineering or electrical related.

40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Plus on call duties (usually 1 in 6 weeks) which carry an additional £165 weekly standby allowance and payment of time and ½ for the duration of any OOH works

We have an opportunity for a qualified domestic Gas Engineer to join our Gas Maintenance team, based in Liverpool. As a Gas Engineer you will assist with delivering high quality gas servicing and maintenance of heating systems for our customers.

You will work as part of a team and on your own, while completing a defined workload of service, repair and maintenance jobs per day.

The role of Gas Engineer will include:

- Service, maintenance and diagnostics of Gas Boilers, Central Heating and Unvented Hot Water Systems
- Utilising analytical and trade skills to diagnose and repair faults
- Completing and submitting gas safety records, identifying and responding to risks, recording logging and completing work via electronic device tablet or phone
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed from our partner suppliers


Skills and experiences:

- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented
- G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS), currently undertaking the qualifications or prepared to undertake these qualifications with the support of Sanctuary Group


- Ideally you will have experience of servicing and repairing boilers.
- The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems.
