A vacancy has arisen at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton at our Royal Derby Hospital in Specialist Medicine Business unit for a Support Medical Secretary.

We are looking for a full-time team player to join our clinical administration medical secretary team within Neurology, working 37.5 hrs per week. You will be working alongside & supporting other medical and secretaries, within the business unit in respect of their NHS work delivering high quality patient care, so confidentiality and a willingness to learn is essential.

Previous support administration experience, knowledge of the 18 week referral to treatment policy and standards would be an advantageous. We are looking for a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join the Specialist Assessment Service in Derby and Derbyshire. The team provides assessment and diagnosis services for Children with complex neuro-developmental difficulties including the possibility of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

We also offer intervention to children with a diagnosis which includes direct and indirect work, groups and consultation to parents and professionals.

Our large Rheumatology department is well known for its friendliness and team-working. Your duties will include:
•Follow the policies and procedures set out by the service in which you are working to ensure you maintain a safe environment for all services users, other staff and yourself.

•Ensure you understand the needs and requirements of each services user you are supporting, following the detailed care plan in-situ and reporting any changes to their situation effectively so that their support plans can be updated to remain accurate and ensure the safety of staff working and the service users.

•You will be required to document and report any concerns which may arise, effectively and efficiently.
