Canex has an opportunity for 10 x Full Time / Part Time Event Staff & General Handypersons to work at Cooinda Lodge and Jabiru, Kakadu, Northern Territory.

The roles can vary and you could be tasked with furniture removalist work, cleaning, general maintenance, waiting and light general labouring for the hospitality sector. For this exciting role you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.

Requirements:

- Ready and able to work long shifts (11 hours a day)

You will be required to work an average of 38 hours per week.

The term of work will be from December 2024 to April 2025

You will be paid either under the Cooinda Lodge Kakadu Enterprise Agreement 2015.

- The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 $27.40/hr up to $29.50/hr
- Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.
- Overtime rates will be paid where applicable
- Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
